Haku walked onto the ground of the abandoned town, carrying his supplies on his back. This was his last assignment before he graduated and he wanted to do a good job. He had to stay here for at least 2 days to observe the Pokemon's behavior that lived in the area.

An 8 year old girl with black hair and black eyes sat in one of the dead trees. She was wearing a black dress with white ruffles under the skirt. Other than that, her outfit was completely black. She giggled as she watched the Murkrow fly around.

Looks like we have a visitor. A Fospirit said telepathicaly as he stood weightlessly on the tip of the highest three branch.

Marci nodded. Since she had come to Pokeopolis, she had spent most of her time in the ghost town, so she had befriended many of the Pokemon that lived there.

Haku smiled and set up his supplies in an abandoned house. He looked out what was left of the window, the sun was beginning to set outside that meant his research would begin soon.

Marci swung her legs in the air, looking at the sky. She was thinking of what exactly to do. I can get some of my friends around here to help... she thought.

Fospirit vanished into the air as a slight breeze blew. He appeared in the house Haku had set up in, hiding in the shadows.

Marci smiled and continued to sit in the tree, but made her face and skin white and made herself appear somewhat translucent.

Fospirit waited until Haku turned his back and quickly took his bag of food, disappearing with it.

Marci smiled, waiting for the sun to completely set. Another Fospirit, a female that Marci had befriended and named Enad'li, sat the base of the tree where Marci was.

Inside the house, a Haunter quickly tapped Haku on the shoulder, then disappeared.

Haku looked behind him. "Hmm, there's nobody there."
A shiny female Frospirit appeared, her middle swollen from her developing pups. She was larger than the average Frospirit. "Shadow, what do you have there?" She asked in a kind and soothing voice.
The male pushed the bag toward the expecting female. "It's food, Venus."

Venus looked the the bag. "Where did you get this?"
"A human has come to the town." Shadow replied. "I took it from him."
"I see." She said, wincing taking her rear left foot off the ground. A bite mark was slightly visible.
"You alright?" Shadow asked.
Venus nodded, laying down. "I'll be fine."

"Just an old wound." Venus said.
"You should get it treated." Shadow muttered.
Venus looked at the ground, her ears dropping. "No, it's my punishment. I wasn't strong enough...."

Enad'li gently nuzzled Venus in a friendly and comforting way. Marci looked at the sky and saw the first stars appearing.

Shadow looked over at the house. "He hasn't turned a light on yet." He said.
Venus lifted her head. "He's probably a professor or something."
Shadow nodded, pushing an apple toward the alpha female. "You should eat something.

Marci smiled and looked at Enad'li. The Fospirit nodded and became invisible, then started trailing Haku, every now and again purposely making a small noise.
