She blinked, a bit confused. Though she owned a jewelery shop in the mall and spent a lot of time in this dimension, she still didn't know a lot of the terms.

With a smile, Victor led them into the city to the Pokemon Center where he got his Pokemon. He smiled at Xiana. "What kind of Pokemon do you like the most?"

"You're afraid of them?" A blonde girl that was clearly several months pregnant stood behind the main counter, blinking. Xiana looked away.

Victor looked at Xiana softly. "You're scared of them?" his tone was low and gentle. He cupped Xiana's cheek and looked at her carefully.

"Well, here," Victor said softly, releasing one of his Pokemon. It was a Pichu that was just a baby with one of it's ears wrapped up and kind of red. "He's just a baby. He's only hurt because he wanted to protect Ditto. 'Chu is just a sweetie."

Victor nodded to her and picked Pichu up, setting him on the counter. He walked over to Xiana and took one of her hands in both of his. He took slow steps toward Pichu and brought Xiana's hand to the counter. He looked intently at his girlfriend. "Do you trust me?"
