[Kiki]

"Of the normal variety I make, no. But normal weapon fans, yes."

[Kirameki]

Victor smiled happily. "Really? Great! I mean... Well... I wouldn't use them often so it would be sad to see your skills go to waste.."

[Kiki]

"Most are not used for combat anyhow."

[Kirameki]

"No?" he asked. "Then what are they for? Just for pretty looks?"

[Kiki]

She shook her head. "They are a priestess' main weapon aside from magic. But they are used in competitions in a sport called fandancing. It is a dangerous sport, but it is mainly practice to get the fans to obey you."

[Kirameki]

"Fandancing?" he questioned. "Hm. Would I have to do that?"

[Kiki]

"No. It is a sport for priestesses. It may sound sexist, but it has 200,000 years of tradition behidn it."

[Kirameki]

Victor laughed. "No, I was just worried I'd have to dance." He motioned to his bare feet. "These kill people with my lack of skill in dancing." He scratched his chest again.

[Kiki]

"Would you like me to show you what fandancing is?"

[Kirameki]

After a moment of musing, Victor nodded slowly. "Sure. I mean, of course only if it isn't energy draining because you know, getting exhausted isn't good."

[Kiki]

"It is not. I have nigh eighteen thousand years behind me." She stood up and removed her hat, then walked a ways away. She pulled two fans out then flared them, tossing them in opposite directions. The fans came at her from all angles. She jumped, flipped, ducked and dodged them, not one hair on her head getting cut.

[Kirameki]

Victor swallowed. That was very dangerous. He gave a nervous chuckle and clapped for Xiana. "Boy am I glad I don't have to do that. Is it hard?"

[Kiki]

She caught both fans and landed in a deep bow, then put them away. "It took me over ten thousand years to get them to like me."

[Kirameki]

Victor blinked and his smile became sad. She was immortal then and he was not. "Ten thousand years is a long time. Did they ever injure you?"

[Kiki]

She rolled up her dress sleeve, revealing long, thin scars.

[Kirameki]

Victor bit his lip, cringing. He didn't get hurt. He was a hard core pacifist so seeing that was just painful for him to look at. Victor covered his eyes.

[Kiki]

She rolled her sleeve back down. "All priestesses bear scars from their fans."

Hatter smiled, done with his apple. "Hey. A guy is here."
Jezzebelle looked up from her work. "Oh."

[Kirameki]

Blinking, Victor looked over at the other person, thankful for a distraction from the light scars. He smiled brightly at the other girl. "I'm Victor. She's Xiana! Why don't you come join us?"

"No thanks. I... have work."

[Kiki]

Xiana sat down again.

[Kirameki]

Victor sighed, not knowing what to do with either of the women. He pulled his knees to his chest, settling his vest so his knees were also wrapped in it. "You are both too complicated for words..."

[Kiki]

"I am eighteen thousand," she said casually.

[Kirameki]

Victor gave a weak laugh. "I'm only 17. I'm not immortal. My life expectancy is maybe 72..."

[Kiki]

She sighed. "I do wish I could be mortal... Living so long is not fun... Mortals wish for immortality, but immortals wish for mortality..."

[Kirameki]

With a tilt of his head, Victor said, "I don't want to be immortal. I want to live and then die. I want to be me for as long as I can, but not too long."

[Kiki]

She nodded. "That is good. I wish I could have died a long time ago. Being trapped in the body of an eighteen year old is hard."

[Kirameki]

Victor looked at her. "I can only imagine how much that must suck." He looked down at his own body. "I don't think I could deal with being like this forever."

[Kiki]

"But we learn to make due. What is more amazing is that if mortals fall in love with us, sometimes they get Eternal Bindings..."

[Kirameki]

Victor blinked at Xiana. "Was that a hint to make a move?" he smiled cheerfully.
