Don't agree to anything, Anakin. Dante cautioned mentally. Anakin slowly held his hand out.
Anakin! Anakin don't! Dante shouted this out loud and mentally. Mark grabbed Anakin's hand, and grinning like a mad man, pulled out a dagger, and stabbing it cleanly through Anakin's palm, catching the blood in a vial. Anakin winced, biting down on his lip to keep from shouting out.

Tawny sat up and put her glasses on, stretching. Something that wasn't the deal was really bothering her and wasn't letting her sleep.

She took an amulet on a string out of her pocket and tossed it to Dante. "My end of the deal. It'll get you to and from." She took Mark's hand, then disappeared with him.

Dante crammed it in his pocket. Anakin licked the blood of his hand, and spat it on the ground. Dante shook his head and teleported back to Sabetha's house.

Tawny was headed toward the edge of town.
Sabetha walked him over to a chair and sat him down. Despite the fact her magic was extremely depleted and she was more asleep than awake, this was far more important to her. "No, you aren't," she said. SHe gently took his hand and healed the wound, wincing as the last little bit of her magic was drained and she had to infuse some of her life force into it.
