They soon came to the edge of town and a white owl was sprawled out on the ground, clearly close to death. "That's what it was..." she muttered.

He blinked, then bent down and picked it up.

The owl started to flutter her wings, scratching at him with her talons. "Woah, woah! Calm down! We're not going to hurt you!" Tawny said. The owl looked at her, breathing hard. Though she was nearly dead, she clearly still had a lot of fight left in her.

Tawny took the owl and the owl clearly relaxed. She nipped Tawny's ear gently, trying to communicate, but Tawny didn't know what she was trying to say. "I'll get you back to my mom's house, then look at you..." The owl nodded.

She started treating the owl, then finished half an hour later. "That's all I can do with what I have... Now it's up to her..." She looked at Dante. "I can take care of those scratches now if you want."
