Hunter grinned again, she already had only one question left on the second page. When she finished that, she moved to the third.

Hunter was already halfway down the third page.. She finished the question with true answers, an the writing was neat. She finished the last question, saying "Done."

Jultun looked up after hitting the button. "You finished with thirty seconds on the clock, pretty good." he looked over the papers, using his headset to grade it. "You seem to have what it takes to join the force." Jultun smiled, "Of course, i knew that when i first met you. And now that you've filled out this paperwork, you're officially an operative."

"Yes, it does." Jultun said, smiling back at her. "And since you're an official officer, i will now nominate you as a potential assistant to the council, as they are meeting in a few days for a progress report against the Rebels. The Commander and I will be there, along with fifty volunteers."

"You're nervous, arn't you? Don't worry, you'll do fine, just make us proud, and run errands for the Council members." He paused just before contacting base. "Do you want to tell the commander you'd volunteer, or should I?"

"Alright." Jultun started the connection, contacting base. "This is Jultun, calling the Commander in regards to the report to the Council."
"Ah, Jultun, what is it?" The commander appeared on his screen. "Anything to report?"
"Only one thing, sir."
"And that would be?" The commander seemed nervous. "If the rebels have a base there, destroy it, that's what you specialize at, remember?"
"No, sir, that's not the issue. The new recruit wishes to volunteer as an assistant to the council."
The commander breathed a sigh of relief. "What am I going to do with you, Jultun?"
"I don't know sir, but look at it this way, by keeping you jumpy, you'll be ready to deal with the rebels if they show up."
The commander laughed. "That's what i'd expect. Very well, Hunter has been added to the list of volunteers. Now i'm going to end transmission."
"Alright. See you at the report, commander."
The communicator hung up, and Jultun looked around.

"Let's hope you still have good days the next few, especially on the day of the report." Jultun said, smiling, "Although if you do mess up that day, it's ok. You know, I messed up once, big time." He started laughing nervously. "In the council room, it's talk when spoken to, unless you're a member of council, and I'll always remember that."

Jultun smiled. "You do know that's the only thing keeping you alive? I can take as many steps foward as I please, because if you kill her, there'll be nothing keeping my plasma-infused blade from eating away your insides." He drew his sword. "But i'll make a deal with you. You let her go, and i'll only jail you for assault with weapon." He was perfectly calm, even when facing such a foe.

Hmmm, release her and get arrested, or release her and fly above them and beat the crap outta them with magic....Arok released Rebeca, but he stretched his wing and flew above them out of their reach.
