Melody nodded. "Maybe if we had someone come in who could help her get her psychic powers under control."

Kadin came in, Kratos following him. "Seron, we want to help her gain control over her psychic power, and Kratos here can help, but only if she trusts him."

He sighed. "She doesn't trust anybody but me. Because of her powers, she was subjugated to innumerable experiments by doctors and beaten by people because of them. She only thinks people are out to get her even though she knows otherwise."

"Let me talk to her." He walked into the room. "Aeri? There's someone here to help..."
"I know, I know," she said quickly, but not tartly; she was just stating fact. "I just...I don't...I can't..." Tears streamed down her face.
"Just try." He kissed her head and offered her a hand. She took it and he led her out into the living room.
