"Sorry, but I don't want any girls in my house, unless a particular one is here." He looked Valen in the eyes. Valen blushed.
"Is there something on my face?"
"Valen, think how many times you've saved me, and how lonely we both are out here. Knowing you, you vowed to stay with this girl until the baby was born, but she's saying she wants to stay here. So, why don't you make this your home? You wouldn't have to be alone anymore. If you wanted company, they'd be right there. So, what do you say?"

"Come on. I've seen you out there, sitting there, rubbing your pouch, tears in your eyes, saying how you felt so empty every night with no baby in your pouch."

Mai started to wash the dishes, pulling her light blue hair back into a ponytail. Kazuya.... She thought as the baby moved. She closed her eyes as she thought of the night of tender love they shared, the same night that child within her was conceived. She missed him.

Mai finished the dishes nearly an hour later. She then started on making a pot roast for dinner, knowing it'd take a while to cook. She sat down on one of the chairs in the kitchen.
