Skulduggery, in his regular tan overcoat to hold his face (along with scarf), sat at a table. "Where is the kid?" He asked to himself.

A boy and girl, clearly twins, sat in a corner of the night club, talking quietly.

"The name you gave ti me, that's you 2nd name- your name given by other people. If any mage of any knowledge knows that name, they can control you to a certain extnt. Walk, sit, stand, talk.... Stuff like that." Skulduggery smiled, and you could feel it through the scarf. "Mind if I take of my scarf? I am in the corner and noone is looking..."

"Thanks." Skulduggery took off his scarf, revealing all he had was a skull for a head. "That feels better. Now, to your first name. Your True Name, only known by a book called the Book of Names, which is deep in a vault in my world. If someone gets that book, they can control EVERYTHING- emotions, thoughts... your free will would be non-existant." He took off his gloves, revealing skeleton hands.

Skulduggery looked at her, and continued. "he third name is your taken name, the name you give yourself. When you choose your taken name, it makes your second name impossible to control. You two will have to think about your taken name, and what it will be. It has to be you, radiate you, and describe you in every way possible."

Skulduggery nodded. "Adepts train for abilities, like reading minds and Necromancy. Their powers are more immediately powerful." Skul clicked his fingers and a ball of fire appeared in his hand. "I'm an Elemental. It's your choice to be an Elemental or an Adept."

"We already have a little bit of training in this stuff," she said. "I've got Fire, Water and Moon. Since most the people 'round here are from the 3rd Dimension, that's where we have the most experience. Odyni can read minds 'n stuff, but he's also got a little bit of magic."
