Walking

[Kiki]

Seyn yawned as she walked along the beach, the moon hanging overhead. "Man, this is awesome. The ocean without any other people around." A Vaporeon padded next to her and a Lapras followed her in the ocean.

[Blade]

Itsuki stepped out onto the beach, his spiky hair swaying in a short gust of wind. His larvitar follow at his heels. Although it seemed to be skittish of the water, it obviously trusted it's trainer enough to approach with him without hesatating. Itachi found a decent place to sit, opened a white notebook, and started studying it.

[Kiki]

Seyn hummed happily as she walked along the beach, then hopped on the Lapras' back and tossed a Pokeball. A Blastoise appeared and Seyn grinned widely. "All right. You know what to do!" Both Pokemon nodded and shot off like bullets through the water. Seyn shifted her weight back and forth on Lara, the Lapras's, back to keep her balance. She had no problem with it, however, clearly having a lot of experience. "All right! That fallen tree's the goal!" She pointed to a tree that was quite a ways off.

[Blade]

Itsuki looked up, hearing someone shouting. He saw her, then returned his gaze to the notebook. "Hmph."
The larvitar watched her, interested in the race.

[Kiki]

Blair, the Blastoise, sped up and Seyn jumped onto Lara's head, then flipped off, landing on Blair's back. The Lapras was left behind and Blair dove under the water, Seyn still on his back.

[Blade]

The larvitar gave a short squeak, his interest peaked.

[Kiki]

Lara dove under the surface and all was quiet on the surface for a minute until both massive Pokemon broke the surface, Lara in the lead. Seyn was back on Lara's back. Lara stopped next to the log, smiling triumphantly. Blair huffed and folded his arms. "Don't be such a sore loser, buddy. Focus on speed, not power, kay?" Seyn said. "See you at home." BLair nodded, then disappeared as he sunk under the surface. Seyn jumped off Lara's back and flipped, landing on the beach. "Good job, girl." THe Lapras nuzzled Seyn, then swam off.

[Blade]

Larvatar looked amused, then settled down next to Itsuki.
"Interesting." Itsuki said suddenly. "I've managed to decode this text inside the cover. It appears to be a series of regulations for the notebook. It's obviously a joke. A notebook that changes reality can't possibly exist. But it's well thought out and planned for a joke. Whoever did this must have spent weeks on it."

(In case you haven't seen the anime, this is pretty much what the protagonist of Death Note says after finding the titular notebook. Just a little anime reference for amusement.)

[Yeah, I figured it was based off the Death Note. I watched it, but I didn't like the second season. Mello and Near were just...yeah.]

Seyn blinked and walked over, looking down at the notebook. "What's going on now? What about a joke?" She clearly had little sense of personal space for others since her head was almost touching his.

[Seyn's one of those happy-go-lucky characters that doesn't really care what others thing about her. I said I think they might be able to get along because once she finds someone she wants to befriend, she never gives up. She can also see Itsuki for who he truly is because of her well-honed empath powers.]

[Blade]

Itsuki shut the notebook. "It's nothing." He looked at her, "Now buzz off."

[Kiki]

She smiled. "So who're you? I'm Seyn."

[Blade]

"Itsuki." He introduced himself before standing up. "Come on, Larvitar." He started walking away from Seyn.

[Kiki]

She caught up to him. "You know, it's rude to just leave someone after you introduce yourself." She smiled and winked. "Plus, I can tell you aren't all prickles and thorns."

[Blade]

Itsuki stopped, huffing. He quickly turned to face her. "What is wrong with you? You're more clingy than a spinarak! I already told you to buzz of!"

[Kiki]

She clearly was unfazed. "I think you need a friend. You seem lonely to me. 'm an empath, so I can tell what people are feeling. I can tell you're angry, but you're afraid to get close to anyone. Right?" She just blinked at him, her eyes clear and innocent like a little kid's, but they held a deep well of wisdom that was clearly beyond her years.

[Blade]

He looked at her, "Are you quite done making stuff up? You're just annoying." He started walking again, Larvitar following him closely.

[Kiki]

"Well, I should head to bed since I start school tomorrow." She smiled, excited. "Off to Melbrook tomorrow!" She turned around and started walking back to her house.

[And, obviously, said school will the the one he's going to. I had a feeling this thread would be short]

[Blade]

Itsuki stopped suddenly. "Melbrook...?" He looked stunned as the equation priced itself together in his mind. Me + Melbrook = Normal. Me + Melbrook + her =... "Argh! That can't happen! She's probably an underclassman, and I won't have to see her at all!" He said, walking toward his own home.

(He's a senior. If she's in a lower grade, she could be in a class shares across grades, or be advanced in one area (or more). Anyway, I'm going to go make the school thread shortly. Unless you beat me to it of course.)

[She's supposed to be a junior, but Mr. Lobo said she could be a senior because of her vast knowledge of Pokemon *giggle* This is going to be fun. I'll make it right now.]
