Cara sighed. "There has to be someplace in this mall were some one is hireing" Cara said.
"We'll find someplace" Matt her electabuzz said encourengly.
"Yeah right."
"Don't talk like that thats quiter talk." Matt said stepping in front of her.

Cara looked up and saw the sign "Ehh maybe I'll get a job here." Cara said She looked around the store and there was a maneger no where in sight
"Maybe they're closed."

A girl that looked around eighteen stood behind a counter, filling out some ledgers. She looked up. "Hello. How can I help you?"

"She's nervous since shes only thirteen." Matt explained.

She nodded. "I can take you on as an apprentice to teach you about the different gems. Included would be their values, histories, how to spot a fake from a real, their mystical properties and other things. You'll have to learn to balance ledgers and such. If you'd like me to take you on as an apprentice at any rate."

Xiana nodded and gave Cara a shirt and some beige pants. "This is the uniform. You'll wear this everyday. Report Monday through Friday at eight in the morning. Does that sound reasonable?"

A black haired nineteen year old walked into the store and over to Xiana. "Oh, Jaelyn. Do you have some new stock for me?"
"I found an exquisite starstone for your custom order." Jaelyn dug around in her pocket and took a honey-colored stone out of her pocket. It floated above her hand and she put it in Xiana's hand.
"Thank you," Xiana said. "This should be enough to complete the order."

"This is Jaelyn," Xiana said. "She helps me keep my stock up and she often brings me rare stones. She's what's called a krysomancer, somebody who can tell the future with crystals and control them."
