Unfortunatly, her attacks were blocked by the high power force fields which surrounded the robots, but almost as soon as she had finished, they retreated. Toward a door on the other side of the room from her. Where Jultun was standing. "Good work, Recruits." He called out, and as he did so, the Senators who had fallen sat up. "It's fun, yet strange." One of the older Senators commented, "When that bolt hit me, all feeling in my legs went, and i collapsed. But it's all for show, we're fine." "These bolts are called Disruptor rounds. They're the number one round you'll use in battle. Remember, aim for the waist of your target. If you hit them too high, it could end up being fatal, unless immediate medical attention is deployed." Jultun said, "With that, your combat training is now complete. We'll just regroup the Senators, and the meeting will continue as planned." (Final test in training. But since i didn't give you much chance, here's that cookie. )

((Thank you! *breaks cookie in half and shares it with Blade* Nommy! ^^))
Hunter grinned half-heartedly. It was all a test. She knew something was up, because the robots didn't seem to be killing. She tapped her sword and it again became her well known staff, The Staff of Elements.

Jultun continued, "Had this been a real attack, we would have moved into the center of the room, and a heavy defence shield would be activated." "Like... This one?" A female voice said, coming from a lady at the control panel. "Calista?! How...?" "During your little test, one of your recruits made the mistake of freeing me. Now you will all pay." With that, she activated a huge force field.

Hunter growled and drew her staff. She swore, "Crap." She spun it around and pointed in the direction of the voice. Fire gathered near the point. It wouldn't damage the controls, it would merely give who ever touched the fire a third degree burn.

The force field reflected the energies, making magic useless. "Hunter, the field is set to block or reflect all energy flow into the area. Magic won't help. But, it can't reflect living matter. Which means, if we were to breach the shield, she would have to fight us face to face." The other recruit said, "And before you ask, i do do some research on other Recruits, Learn their strengths and weaknesses, then adjust to counterbalance. Like, you're strong when it comes to melee range attacks, and magic, but weaker when it comes to firearms. So, if I ever end up working with you, I'd use most of the firearms while leaving you free to use Melee combat. But this doesn't matter now, during such a crisis. You charge from the left, I'll charge from the right."

Hunter nodded, turning her dress into battle armour and her staff into her sword. "Ready?" Her voice was barely a whisper. Her senses were open and ready, ready or any battle movement.

"Ready." The recruit said, charging in the set direction. The 'Calista' saw them coming, and started firing at them as she saw them.

Hunter rolled to one side and kept charging. She carged up a ball of fire. Like her staff fire, it wouldn't damage anything that's not living, but burn everything that is, or once was, living. She prepared to throw it.

While Hunter rolled and continued charging, the other recruit was hit. He collapsed, landing sprawled out on the ground. Calista looked stunned for a moment, then dashed from the large shield in the center of the room to his side. "Dang, he tried to roll, and the blaster shot caught him on the side of the neck. Sorry, Jultun." She said, then started CPR on the fallen recruit. Jultun stood up, and his voice thundered across the room. "We are currently in the midst of a crisis. All recruits, head into the lobby." He noticed Hunter, and walked over. "Hunter, before you go, find some way of getting rid of that." He pointed at the ball of fire in her hands. "We don't want anyone else injured."

Hunter nodded. "Alright." She clasped her hands together, and the fire was gone. She nodded and followed the other recruits. She remembered suddenly that this was her fault. The kid wouldn't have gotten hit if she had put a sheild around him. She grimaced. A bullet had grazed her shoulder a bit, leaving a long, bloody scratch. She gingerly touched her side. It didn't hurt much. "Looks like you dodged a little bit to late, Hunter." She said to herself, half-smiling.
