"Alright, we're going to meet up with the Commander and the other Recruits now, before we enter the Council's meeting chamber." Jultun said, "Follow orders, and you'll be fine." After they left, the Commander and the other recruits were in formation, the Commander at the front, and the Recruits in lines. "follow me." Jultun told Hunter as he walked toward the Commander in the front.

Hunter looked around before following Jultan and the others.

"Ah, Jultun, right on time, as usual." The Commander greeted him. "Recruits, fall in!" "Hunter, take a place in the lines." Jultun said, walking over and standing next to the Commander. "All right, our mission here is to protect the Council from harm as they meet and decide our next moves."

Hunter nodded and stood beside a tall recruit and a recruit that was about her height.

The recruit her size looked over at her, then whispered in her ear; "Just because he's your mentor, doesn't mean you're much better than us, don't forget that." He seemed to be talking about Jultun. Jultun seemed to notice, but left it be. The recruits have to sort things out between themselves. I'll interfere if it gets too malicious.

Hunter nodded, before smiling a bit. "Depends on what we're good at." Then turned back to the front.

The Recruit looked shocked, then replied shortly, "Do you really not know? Or are you being smart?"

Hunter smiled, deciding she should reveal she was a general once. "Do not be fooled by my pretty stature. I was once a general in an army for the Jhoto region. So I would say that I'm better then some and worse than others. We all have our strengths and flaws."

"Heh, you must really not know." the other recruit commented. "Jultun's fighting skills have gotten him to the point he is now. Which is just below the Commander. Who himself answers directly to the Galactic Council! Rumors have it he's being considered to take the Commander's place when he retires."

Hunter smiled. "That I didn't know, but I knew his fighting skills are great. I trained from since I was seven, yet he's as close to my match as ever. I can't touch him that easy."

"And since he took you as an apprentice, you're a threat to our job security. With super officers like you here, we seem small and insignificant."

Hunter shook her head. "I never want to cause trouble. I have no intention of becoming Head Officer or Commander. I only joined so I could help keep this place safe......"Hunter looked away. "And to protect those who can't stop the evil."

"Very noble." A brisk voice said, almost right next to them. It was Jultun. "Sir?" The other recruit said. "That should be the goal of every one of you. Just climbing the ranks is meaningless, unless. Set a goal for yourself, then work to acheve it. A wise man once said, I'd you won't fight for your goals, you won't fight for anything."

Hunter smiled. "Well said. We have only purpose in life if we have a goal. I strive to rid the land of it's evil."

The recruits were quiet, but it seemed they were still weary of Hunter. "Recruit, since when do you speak before you are called on?" Jultun said, "Even though you are my apprentice, you still have to uphold the same laws and follow the regulations!"

Hunter smiled just a little. She bowed her head, but did not speak.

Jultun hoped his correction of her helped the other recruits to accept her, but he got her aside and told her secretly, "Sorry about that, i usually don't scold my apprentices in front of other people. I thought if they saw you being scolded, it may put their mind at rest."

The recruit who had been talking with hunter earlier walked over soon after Jultun left. "Sorry, I never noticed before now how harsh Vice Commander Jultun could be. Friends?"

"You still have a lot to learn." the other recruit commented, half teasing. "we won't be fighting for awhile, not until basic training is over, then we'll have to work with our mentors for the last bit of training. If all goes well, we'll see each other at graduation. After that, it's up to luck as to whether we get to work together."

Hunter nodded. she tapped the sword at her side three times, and it turned into a staff. She slipped it over her back. The staff had five crystals, representing the main elements: red for fire, green for earth, blue for water, and light grey for air. In a three claw of the staff sat a fifth crystal, half white, half black.

Jultun showed Hunter her post, and when the meeting started, the recruits were standing at the ready around the outside of the room.

Hunter nodded at Jultan before he walked away, and kept watch by her post. She itched to draw her staff, but it may be interpretted as hostility. She sighed and pulled her black and white highlighted hair out of her face, and tapped her dress slightly. she grinned. She had recently enchanted it so it could be turned into armour. She wondered if it would be OK to let out Sentry, her Crobat. He could certainly help, as he was trianed to keep a lookout for trouble.

About halfway through, a bunch of robots broke in, and began firing at the Senators, who fled to the other side of the room.

((Ohhhh? A battle?))
Hunter drew her staff, and readied herself, rolling to the side as a bullet missed her. She shot energy at the robots, from both her staff and her hand. She tapped her staff and it shimmered, growing into a sword. Her dress transformed into hard armour. In battle, Hunter was like a lionness. She struck, and dodged wth feline grance, but attack with a hidden strength.

Jultun was nowhere to be seen. The other recruit, the one she had been talking to earlier, was to her right, fighting bravely. For all the shots and strikes the IP gave out, the robots seemed no worse for wear.
(Yes, a battle. A battle for special purposes. If you figure out what I mean, you get a cookie.)

((*thinks*))
Hunter rolled to one side before finally using a area move. She slammed the ground with her fist, and a electrical force surrounded her with a crackling energy. Any robots to get close to her would short circut. She ran up and beheaded a robot to her left, and stabbed another through the chest. She slashed the weapon out of another's hand before stabbing it, and sent some crackling energy at another.
