Chyus is a very interesting character. While he looks normal, he is far from that. He hosts two spirits within his body: his own and that of his dead twin brother. While most people would be able to handle this easily, Chyus is very different. Donal, his dead twin, was very spiteful and sadistic when he was alive. Had he lived, he would have become completely evil. He still harbors his evil intents and tries to exert himself over Chyus, but Chyus' control has gotten much stronger over the years. Chyus has a good handle over Donal, but when he's frustrated or upset in general, his guard drops and Donal often takes over. It can sometimes take hours or even days for Chyus to get control again, depending on the degree of Donal obtained.
This has been going on for the better part of ten years. Donal was hit by a car when he was seven.
