Alexander landed by a decrepit shrine house. He set Remiel down to put up a few holy wards. Remiel looked around at the towering trees.

Alexander sat down. "Fine," he muttered.
Remiel looked up at the stars. "Alex, what is the rebirth ritual?"
"It's when the Carrier spends the last few weeks of their role in the Heavens. when it's time for the rebirth you'll do it in front of the Seraphim and the elders."
Remiel turned red.

"But..." Remiel stopped himself, knowing it was useless to argue. He laid down.

"I think it moved."
Alexander nodded.
"It feels wierd."

Mithos kept watch. He turned around and whipped a kunia with a special seal that whizzed right in front of Remiel's face, pegging a demon in the head, the seal activating and detroying it. "Tch. Off by 1% of an inch."

Remiel flinched. Alexander, pulled Remiel closer to him with one arm. He had his other hand on his sword which was on his sword that laid across his legs.

Alexander polished his sword, looking at Remiel's reflection in the metal.
