Kiki smiled and went back to petting the top of Katie's head. Ombreon suddenly appeared in her normal form and Kiki's expression softened even more. "Hey, love."
"Hey," Ombreon said.
Sunja cocked her head to the side. "You two...love each other?"
"We're literal soul mates," Kiki said.

"Bell's great with pups. She's had several litters," Kiki said. "She should be too old to have anymore, but she's Eternally Bound to me at her current, younger age."
"What's an Eternal Binding?" Sunja asked.
"If you've heard of an Eternal Life spell, it's sort of like that, except one person is bound to another until that one person dies. The Bound can't die until the one they're Bound to dies," Kiki said.
