"The guy that captured me was the greatest guy ever. He treated me like I was a god, seriously. He treated me like there was no better Pokemon."
Sunja turned her head. "I'll believe that only when I see it for myself."

Katie took her peice and put it next to Sunja. She fell asleep on the bed smiling.

The next morning, Sakala woke up before dawn, then slipped into the forest before anyone else woke.
Sunja woke several hours later.

Fyre pricked her ears as Sakala came walking back with Kiki. "Gods, Sakala, why drag me through this damn snow?" Kiki muttered, pulling her coat tight around her shoulders.
Sunja jumped and growled at Kiki, her coat puffing out.

Kiki blinked. "You must be the Sunja Sakala mentioned," she said. "I'm Yushima Kiki." Sunja said nothing, watching Kiki with narrowed eyes. "I won't hurt you. I've never harmed a Pokemon in my life. I fight for your rights." She sat on the ground on her knees in a vulnerable position. "I hate people that harm Pokemon. My life's purpose is to help Pokemon."

Sarah, who still had never spoken, crept up to Kiki and batted at her with her paw. Kiki chuckled and held her hand out to Sarah. The Vulpix sniffed her hand and Kiki gently scratched her head. Sarah smiled and yipped happily. Sunja raised her eyebrow as she relaxed a bit.

Kiki smiled as a Vulpix walked in. "Hey, Bell," she said. "What brings you here?"
"I just saw you heading this way with a Ginala and thought it was weird," Annabell said.
"Well, you can join us if you'd like." She smiled as Annabell settled into her lap. Sunja watched.

She held her free hand out to Katie to sniff. Her body language showed she was completely relaxed and not a threat. Sarah was snuggled up against one of Kiki's knees.

"Trust me. She'd rather die than hurt a Pokemon," Annabell said. "I've been with her over fifty years. She saved my life."
