Kenji helped his family out of the cab and paid the driver. Nozomi smiled and set up a blanket in the grassy part of the beach area. Zane smiled and began to splash in the waves.

Saline laid out on the grass, sunning himself. Nume laid beside him.

"Thanks." Nozomi said, she smiled and removed the light beach sham from off her body, reveling her string bikini.
Kenji's face turned as red as his hair.

Zane ran up to his parents, hugging Kenji's leg. Kenji smiled and patted his son on the head. "Mommy come swim?" he asked.
Nozomi smiled. "Sure she said, taking his hand and heading into the water.

Saline looked up when he felt something touching his ears. He saw a young boy there, feeling his ears. "Yeah. They're real," Saline said.

The kids took turns feeling Saline's ears. Nume smiled, watching. Saline was very good with kids.

Nozomi put a hand on her middle and smiled as the baby kicked. Zane ran over and hugged his father's leg.

"Hey kids. There's actually an entire planet with people like me," Saline said
"Really? How do we go there?" One of the boys asked.
"I'd need to call on a friend to help, but you'd all have to ask your parents first. I don't think they'd want you just taking off to another planet."

"So who's taking you?" one of the kids parents asked, walking up to them.
"That would be me," Saline said. "I'm bringing along a good friend, though," he said, motioning to Kratos.
"Oh. Well if they're with our city guardian, they'll be fine."
