Sojiro, a man with black hair and green eyes that looked around 20, and Sanira, a normal Lucario, headed toward the hotsprings. Though it was summer, they still enjoyed it.

Near the hotsprings was a white wolf. It wasn't hostile and it didn't seem to be guarding any territory.

The white wolf spotted the 2 of them and walked slowly towards them, hoping not to scare them.

A man and golden Lucario rounded a corner, noticing the wolf.
"Well, looks as though there are others here, Damini." The man said, looking at the wolf and ready to react if it attacked.
"Yes, it seems so." the Lucario spoke, preparing one of it's Aura Spheres.

Sojiro stood up. "Don't," he said. "I can tell she's harmless." He was obviously referring to the wolf.

The wolf backed away a few steps, then turned into a wolf girl with white ears and fur. "Please, don't hurt me."

Damini looked at the other man, then withdrew his Aura Sphere, the man beside him returning to a normal stance. "Sorry, we saw her moving up to you and thought she may attack. Anyway, my name's Alek, and this is Damini, my Lucario."

"I'm Sojiro and this is my wife, Sanira." Sojiro motioned to the Lucario with him. To the girl, he said, "Don't worry. Nobody will get hurt as long as I'm here."

Alek said, not flaunting his skills but just mentioning them as he talked, "However even I cannot stop all of the fights through speech and kind actions. It is at that point when I must use force."

Sojiro somewhat ignored Alek as what he was saying was irrelivant to the current discussion. "You can always learn," Sojiro said to the girl.

Sojiro walked to her. "No. I don't know the full extend of what happened, but... Well, let's just say they went to sleep and aren't waking up again," he said, guessing at what had happened. He stooped down to her level.

"I have seen much in my lifetime, child, and one thing I have never seen is a parent abandoning their child." Alek said, "Perhaps they are just lost, and need more time to return. Or, perhaps this man is correct." He stooped as well, locking eyes with her. "But the best thing you can do in any case is remain strong."

"There are many out there who are looking for a child. You will find the right pair. But only if you are strong and keep looking against all hope." Alek was trying to encourage the girl to keep searching, even if she thought she couldn't find anyone.

They thought of me as a rare thing to be traded and sold, not as a living being. I thought they were all the same until I met Alek. He was my first and only friend, and I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for him."
