Xipil walked up to the edge of the crater, breathing hard from the climb up and the thin air. "Whew, look at all this!" He said, looking down into the lava. "Should be able to train well here." He focused, drawing from the heat around him to boost his own power.

Nearer the base of the volcano, Yorshri followed Akunza, her Ninetales that was black with emerald eyes and white tailtips and paws. She wiped her brow because of the heat.

"Ah, no, not others!" Xipil said, looking down over the edge of the rock. "That figures, i find the perfect place to train, and others show up..."

Yorshri sensed Xiphil, but paid no attention to him, continuing to follow her Ninetales

"Hey, i'm trying to train here, and i'd like to be alone!" Xipil called, looking down at the duo.

Akunza froze and looked up, then back to see Yorshri, then dashed off. Yorshri sighed.

"Well? Are you just going to stand there?" Xipil asked. He thought the fox made the right choice, the other figure was just standing there...

Yorshri sighed again. "You just had to shout, didn't you?" she asked. The goddess was normally calm but the person yelling at her had irked her a little by shouting and scaring off Akunza. The Ninetales had been hiding something for quite some time and Yorshri had finally decided to follow her, but he had scared her off.

"Well, are you just going to stand there? Or are you going to make like that fox and scram?" Xipil asked, iratated as well.
(this could end in a fight if one side doesn't give in)

"You don't own this area," Yorshri said cooly, her eyes turning emerald green. She wanted to hide her irritation from Xiphil. She was a pacifist and a healer, not a fighter, so it wouldn't end well if it resulted in a fight

"Well, i was here first, and where I come from it counts." Xipil said.

"This isn't your homeland," Yorshri said. "The ways here are different."

"You're point is?" Xipil was getting increasingly hostile and iratated. Being a noble at home meant he usually got his way, but this strange figure was iratating him.

"The point is that your customs won't always be observed here," Yorshri said. "This land isn't yours. It's a wild area that belongs to nobody and everybody."

Xipil scoffed. "well if it belongs to no one, why are you here?" He looked down at Yorshri, a strange smile on his face.

"That's none of your buisness," Yorshri said, folding her arms. "I don't need to answer to you. As a goddess, I outrank you." She flipped her hair. The goddess was normally humble, but Xiphil was bringing out her prideful side. A little girl's giggle was heard and Yorshri looked to see a 9 year old girl with bright green hair and black eyes sitting on a boulder. "Getting a little prideful, aren't we, Yorshri?" She giggled again.

"Who're you?" Xipil's voice was cold, even to this child. AUGH, another person. what's the point of training here if there's just going to be people? Hey... (left that out on purpose, but you can probably guess his next course of action...)

"Name's Marci," the little girl said, turning over so she was lying on her back. "And I wouldn't attack me if I were you." Her voice was sing-songy. "You don't know who you're messing with."

"I know enough. You're a little girl, how much harm could you do?" Xipil was deep into battle mode now, and with the heat from the volcano around him, he had a large power boost.

Yorshri glanced at Marci, who stood up and brushed her dress off. Marci merely giggled, waiting for Xiphil's attack.

Xipil didn't like the idea of fighting a little girl, after all, she was so tiny. "You," he said, looking at Yorshri, "Is this your child?" his vioce was cold, but he was shocked by his lack of will to fight. Look here, i'm acting like Enki would! How amusing.

"No. I don't know who she is," Yorshri said. "This is the first time I've seen her." And she's amazingly skilled if she can hide her aura from me.

"Well, kid, i admire your courage, but I won't fight you. It'd be unfair to you." Xipil said, looking at the kid. "Come back in a few years once you've gotten older, and we might duel."

"I am older than I look!" Marci said in her kid voice. "She's right," Yorshri said. "She's had a lot of training in order to be able to seal her aura off to me. As a goddess of 6000 years, I've a lot of experience in aura sensing. It usually takes at least 200 years to learn that."

"I couldn't tell. She has quite amazing control of her aura," Yorshri said. "I could only sense a slight bit of anger and annoyance from her. As for you, I don't know. Maybe my presenece? I'm more of a pacifist and a healer than a fighter. It's a possibility."

"I don't know..." Xipil looked confused, "I wasn't feeling this way until after she showed up. Either way, i should be going. My friends are probably waiting for me, and since i'm late, i'm probably going to get an earful from Aquize..."

Yorshri nodded, then sighed. "I've gotta go find Akunza again anyways..."
