The peace and tranquility of the mountains, the stone spires covered in part by a blanket of white, stretched across the range, making even the hardest of hearts feel happy. This was disturbed, for a second, by a white flash, followed by a red and black creature, who kicked the open air. "Hey, where'd he go?" The creature looked around, confused by his surroundings. "And where did I end up? Did Chaos Control send me to another detention again? Last time, it was eggman who caused it. I couldn't do it when i tried, but it seems I've advanced enough to cause interdementional travel." He began to glow blue, then another white flash occured, and a few seconds later happened again. "What? I guess i had best look into this before i try again. I have tapped into a new power, a highly potent version of Chaos Control, and luckily I no longer need the Chaos Emeralds to use my abilities, or I'd be in trouble here, where ever here is."

Kaushal watched from in his own dimension. "Well, well, well. Another someone who can hop dimensions," he said, coming out of his own. "Impressive. I thought I was the only one."

"Wha?" Shadow reached to his waist, pulling out a small black handgun which blended into his fur. "Come any closer and you'll see what else I can do!" He warned, staring down the strange character.

"Don't think you're the only one with a few tricks," Kaushal said, reaching a hand into his own dimension, grabbing a hidden gun there.

"Ah, i am known as the Ultimate Being. A few tricks can't stop me that easily, fool." Shadow commented, then began running at full speed toward Kaushal. "Chaos Spear!" With that, he began glowing gold, and golden rays of energy began crashing towards the other being.

"Then why did you draw your weapon when i warned you?" Shadow asked, using chaos control to bend time, appearently teleporting behind kaushal with his gun held out.

Shadow looked at the man before him, and smiled at the eye patch. "I see you also lead a life of battle." He commented, then holstered his weapon, his eyes never leaving Kaushal.

"I can do anything i have seen." Shadow said, holding out his other hand, a tank forming in the same way as the motorcycle. "Then I can use the objects to reach my goals." He used Chaos Control to warp into the tank, turning the barrel to face Kaushal.

(Hey, that's my trick! Anyway, the tank usually only has room for shadow, for future refrence. I should start writing something about that whenever i materialize it from this point on.)
Shadow looked at this strange person. He didn't know what to think, mostly because he seemed to use Chaos Control to access his demention. "I am Shadow. I come from another demention, where seven stones, the Chaos Emeralds, hold extreme amounts of power. I used to only be able to use my abilities while holding one of those stones, however i have advanced, meaning i can use my abilities anywhere. Chaos Control, the power i used to enter this tank, affects time, and to a limited degree, space. However, i accidently tapped into a stronger version, one which commands space itself, which brought me here. I need to master that version of Chaos Control, and you seem to use it." Shadow finished. He was new to asking for another person's assistance, Sonic and his pals would offer and stick around even if Shadow declined. He guessed that was what made Sonic who he was. Although Shadow was often annoyed by sonic's willingness to help, he also admired it. "My rival, Sonic, and I were dueling at the time, and I do not wish to be seen as a coward."

"Ah. Then you are of no assistance to me." Shadow said, as the tank disolved around them. Oh well, i will find someone who is, and if I cannot, i shall master it myself." He disolved the motorbike, then began to dash off into a random direction.

"Well, he's sure an odd one," Kaushal said to himself. "Lets see what he thinks of my dimension." Kaushal took both of them into his dimension by creating a far away portal in front of Shadow. "Welcome to my world."

"Wow, so many mechines." Shadow commented, moving around to inspect each one. "I think it only fair to tell you that when i see a mechine, i can materialize an exact copy." He looked at Kaushal, "That being said, do you mind if I check the rest of the stuff here, or do you wish to return to the other demention now?"

"You may check it. None of it is even operational anyway. True, I didn't used to be this good at my dimensional movement. My dimension also used to be very small. Just big enough for me to fit in."

"Once I master the stronger version of Chaos Control, i will return to my demention, and I will bring along my copies of these machines. I have aquaintences there who are mechanics. They may be able to make your designs work." Shadow said, then added, "Then I will return here to share their discoveries with you, so you may also benifit."

"I may be able to help you master that Chaos Control," Kaushal said. "If it's anything like what I've been doing, then I can teach you how I built this whole world you see. And it's not that I don't know how to get the machina working. I'm still tinkering with them."

"I would think Tails or Eggman would be able to get them working faster, Kaushal. I do not know your skill with machines, although Tails has made large planes, complete with weapons systems, within a week, and Eggman has a huge army of robots. They also have made deep-space exploration crafts, and used them." Shadow commented, looking at Kaushal. "Tails is Sonic's friend, Sonic looks like me, only with lots of blue, and Tails looks like a fox, who has two tails, hence his nickname. Eggman is the grandson of my creator, Robotnik, a genetic scientist. He is always going on about making an empire of his own, although Sonic usually ruins his plans. Those two would fight if they passed each other on the street!" Shadow found himself talking about his home, and wishing to be back in the chaos of that world.

"Ah, I will keep that in mind." Shadow said, his mind spinning. He was not usually this friendly with others, usually pretty much ignoring them unless they were in his way. Could it be i feel some sort of... friendship, with this man? Is it because he has lived as I have?

I have not felt this way since Maria sacrificed herself to save me... Shadow just nodded at Kaushal's words, only half listening. He wanted to know why he felt like this. He couldn't figure it out.

"no, i'm fine." Shadow tried to hide his feelings, like he did at home, although next to this person he felt he couldn't. "Actually, yes, there is." He confessed. "I have lived a life of hatred and revenge, because my only friend, Robotnik's granddaughter Maria, was killed by the government as she was trying to save me. They were after me, they were afraid of me. They were right. I have been fighting to avenge Maria ever since, although i never included civilians. This fight is between me and GUN. But now, i feel a new emotion. Something I have not felt since her death..." He trailed off, appearently unable to continue.

ooc: Ok. After further research, I think I can safely say Rita Prower is purely fanmade. I can't find one picture of her that isn't clearly Tails from Sonic X photoshopped. Still, here's the idea the people came up with.  Quiet inventive, actually. Spike is fanmade, too. I can't find the picture I saw of him, but just imagine Tails with the brown and white on his body reversed. |
