Aura treked up the mountain, enjoying the scenic view and the fresh air. "Ah, the mountains, how enjoyable." She then tripped on a rock, falling over. "Enki!" She said, then noticed he wasn't there. "Oh, of course. I'm alone." She stood up, then said, "Well, this is as good a place as any."

"Too slow, Inari!" Matsu's hand landed on Inari's neck and she shivered. "Geeze, Matsu! Do you have to make your hands so cold?" Inari asked, taking a step back. "Sorry, but it's just so you know that you've lost." "An awful cruel way." "Aw, come on, Ina. At least I'm not freezing you." "Yeah..."

Aura thought she heard something over the next rise, and as she climbed she could hear it better. She watched the strange people fighting, then walked closer, interested with their moves, which were nothing like those Enki and Aquize did, however produced similar effects. One was using what seemed to be earth, throwing around hard crystals, and the other seemed to weild water, ice forming at his command. When they broke up, she called, "Hello, I'm Aura. Can I talk to you for a moment?"

"Sure," Inari said. Matsu glared at Aura, clearly suspcious. "Knock it off." Inari good-naturedly and gently hit him in the back of the head. "I'm Kondo Inari and this is my twin brother, Kondo Matsu."

"It's just that you can use crystal and ice like a few of my friends, and I was wondering if you were elementals like us?" Aura said, taking a defencive stance having been unnerved by the glare.

The twins glanced at each other. "What we use is called alchemy," Inari said. "I'm the Crystal Alchemist." "And I'm the Ice Alchemisty," Matsu said. "We're what you would call national alchemists. We're in the Amestris military," Inari said.

"What?" Aura said, "I have no idea what you are talking about." She looked around, looking for Enki, but remembering he wasn't there. Enki would know what to do if he were here...

"We come from a far off land," Inari said. "We started traveling to get away from our painful past." She pulled her left glove off, revealing automail. "This is the result of dabbling in the taboo of human transmutation." "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost." Matsu quoted the law of equivalent exchange. Inari nodded. "You see, alchemy is science," she explained. "It seems like magic, but it's just science. Like the first law of conservation of energy. 'Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. It can only be used in different ways.' We can only make things on a one-to-one ratio. Let's see..." Inari looked around. "The times when you could use a radio or something..." She scratched her head. "Basically, we're just rearranging the molecules of certain things. Oh!" She looked and found a pencil in her pocket. "Here's an example." She broke the pencil and extracted the graphite. "This is called graphite, but it's just an arrangement of the element carbon." She pressed her hands together and the small amount of graphite had changed to coal. "Coal and graphite are both made of carbon. And now..." She squeezed her hands together and the coal became diamond. "It's diamond."

"Oh, that's interesting." Aura commented, then began to swirl the air in a dust devil. "I control air, and can make it move in different ways." She continued goofing off, then seemed to realize something. "Oh, I'm supposed to be training."

"That's why we came out here," Inari said. "To train. I work best in this type of place." "Plus the air's cooler here. Easier for me too," Matsu said.

"Do you think we could train together? Or would it be too dangerous?" Aura commented, making the dust devil grow a little bit, increasing it's power until it was a slight pull on her body.

"It seems like it'd be dangerous for Inari," Matsu said. "She's more defense." "But if we fight together, we'd be fine," Inari said. "No, Inari," Matsu said. "You've been like this ever since that damned himonculus died," Inari said. "You're too overly protective." "I know, but..." Matsu stopped dead when he heard a faint cry for help. "Aya-chan!" "Aya-chan?!" Inari looked at Matsu. She put her hand on the ground. "2.3 kilometers away!" Matsu took off at a run, Inari following.

"I'm coming with you, I can't leave someone in trouble." Aura said, "And if either of you can constrict, we can use our moves together to produce extra effects, like I do with my friends." Aura was surprized at how calm she was at the moment, like being on her own let her step up and focus on the tasks which needed to be done. "I'm not usually this bossy."

Matsu came to a cliff and saw Ayami straning herself by hanging onto a cliff. "Aya-chan! Inari!" Inari nodded and clapped her hands, then put the on the ground. A shelf of earth jutted out just below Ayami's feet. "Aya-chan, it's all right. You can let go," Inari said. Ayami let go and landed about two centimeters down where the shelf was. "Aya-chan." Matsu stretched his hand out and grabbed Ayami. He took her in his arms. "All right?" "Yeah..." Ayami said. "S-Sorry for causing trouble, Mat-kun..." Ayami buried her face in Matsu's shirt. "It's all right," he muttered. Inari smiled. "Thank goodness he heard her," Inari said.

"I could have used my air powers to levitate her over here. It's a simple trick, watch." She ran toward the edge, then lept off, landing on an air current rising from the ground, and the current continued to rise until she was sitting at an even level with the alchemists.

Inari shrugged. "This was just as easy," she said. "Aya-chan, you didn't bring Ai-chan did you?" "No," Ayami said.

(love the avitar, Kiki.)
"Well, what have we here?" A gruff voice sounded, and Jultun walked up.
(I'm thinking of making the Rebel Leader, and i would like to mix up the chain of command for the Rebels as well.)

[Go for it. As for the avvie... Tis true. I have no life]
Matsu put Ayami down and stepped in front of Inari, Ayami and Aura. "I was just saving my girlfriend." Inari looked at Jultun carefully, trying to determine if he were friend or foe.

"I see you come from anoter place. I am Jultun, an officer of the intergalectic Police. I am no harm to you, unless you mean me harm." Jultun said, "Now that i've introduced myself, Kondo Inari, Matsu, and Aura, is it?"

Matsu got on guard and Inari tensed a little. "How do you know our names?!" Matsu asked, glaring. He put his hands close together behind his back should Jultun attack. "Matsu, baka!" Inari hissed in his ear. "This guy's strong. Even together it'd be kind of hard to fight him! Plus, he won't attack unless we do, so cool it!"

"She's right. And I met Kiki, who gave me the information i needed, such as your names." Jultun explained, "I'm looking for any of the enemies of the Intergaletic Police on this planet, and from what I heard from kiki, this would be a good planet to hide out on, since so many people from so many areas live here." Jultun gave the basics of his mission to save time, "And from your stance I'd say you are aggressive. Attack me, and I will be forced to subdue, then either kill or capture you. If the latter, you'd be facing jail time for assault on an officer, and maybe even interigation as a suspect rebel."

Inari slapped Matsu in the back of the head and he fell forward, landing face first on the ground. "Ow!" "Sorry about that," Inari said. "Matsu's the naturally more suspicous one."

"I understand, I too must be suspicious. With the rebels around, the amount of attacks on officers has increased, most of them fatal." He looked around, "I can be considered the Elite officer. I have seen more battle than all of you combined. As such, attacking me would be foolish."

"You haven't faced a crazy himonculus that nearly killed you!" Matsu snapped and Inari whapped in the back of the head. "Baka! Be quiet!" Inari said. Matsu muttered and sat down, arms folded.

"Ah, but I have, the leader of the rebels. She was after me, and to get at me, she attacked the one i cared for. Ever since, i've been after her most." Jultun commented, "And any enemy base i saw, i destroyed. Even when they had hundreds of soldiers stationed there. This makes me the most dangerous and wanted man in their database, and they would all attack without hesitation if they saw me. I would think that is worse than just being hunted by one person, don't you?"

"See, our situation was that we lost our aunt, then tried to bring her back to life. We ended up creating a himonculus," Inari said. "Human transmutation is taboo. We both lost something." Inari pulled up her sleeve again, revealing the automail arm. "I also had my soul ripped from my body. Matsu lost one of his legs, then he sacrificed his other leg to get my soul back. The himonculus hunted us for around four years until it was destroyed thanks to Kratos not too long ago."
