A New Spot To The Set

A tack went splitting trough the ads board, a smile on the boy's face as his Ninetails, Nine for short, stood next to him, watching silently.

Max read the ad over one more time.

Dear Readers,

My Ninetails, Nine for short, is looking for a new love. She hopes to find someone she can trust with her children & her owner. She hopes to stay with them for life & bear his children, wether they be one or many.

Thinks that's good enough? Max asked, turning to his Pokemon. She nodded in response.
Of course she said to him. Although you could've added that any fire type would work for me. Kc shrugged.
Oh well he said, then nodded to the waiting area. Now lets go sit down. The Pokemon nodded, & followed himas he sat down, grabbing a magizine as he sat. The Pokemon jumped on a chair beside him, lying her head down quietly.

Daisy walked in and checked the bulliten board. "Oh!" She turned to Max and Nine. "I see your Ninetales is looking for a mate." She smiled. "I might have a potential mate." She dug a Pokeball out of her pocket with her free hand, as she was holding an infant in her other arm, and let out a mostly white Ninetales with blue eyes. His fur was streaked with silver and gold in lightningbolt patterns. "This is my nephew, Harzo."

Max shot up from his head from his reading material. Nine jumped off of her stool, a little curious of the new arriver.
Yes, yes I am he said, answering the girl's first question. He preacticly jumped as she released a practical white Ninetails. Wow he muttered.
Nine lueched forward, smelling the male all over. She was highly supisous of new Pokemon, usaly used to battling them instead being their mates. Finally, she backed off, watching him silently.
Why, hey there, boy Max said, squatting down & holding out his hand. That there's Nine he added, nodding toawrds his female.

Harzo smiled. "I see." The Ninetales spoke in perfect english.

Max smiled, then stood up fully, looking at Harzo's trainer now.
I'm Max, as you know he said to the girl. May I ask your name?
Nine again approaced the male, scanning over him now. Why are you so white she asked the male. She may be old, but she still had many questions she just needed to be answered.

"My mother was white," Harzo answered.
"I'm Daisy and I'm not his trainer, I'm his aunt," Daisy said.

Max nodded. And may I ask how are you his aunt? he asked the girl. He had never heard of a human being a Pokemon's Aunt before.
I see Nine said to Harzo. Her head drooped a bit. My mother had abondon me when I was very young, so I don't remember her much. She was wild, although I don't know much about my father. All I know is living with humans now... Nine trailed off a bit, her gaze now averted.

"My brother married his Ninetales." Daisy shrugged. "Pokemon and humans are perfectly compatable. We all have 23 pairs of chromosomes."
"Oh. I'm sorry..." Harzo shuffled his paws a bit, unsure of what else to say.

Max blinked twice. Okay.... he said, almost trailing off. A Pokemon & human? he thought. Too weird... He turned to Nine, who seemed ubuntly quiet. What do you say, Nine? he asked his Pokemon.
She paused for a moment, staring at Harzo. And it seemed she nodded a yes to him, accetping what was to come.
Max smiled & turned towards Daist & Harzo. What does Harzo think? he asked the girl, although he kne wthe Pokemon could speak for it's self, he didn;t want to sound to rude to the Pokemon it-self.

"She seems nice," Harzo said. "I'd rather if you asked me questions directly." He looked at Nine. "Would you like to take a walk to get to know each other?"

Nine raised her head a bit more & looked up to Max, eyes pleading.
Turst me Max laughed. I ain't planning to pick a fight with out you. Go ahead & have fun.
Nine looked back towards Harzo. Where shall we go? she asked the male, a little more exited than usual.

"HOw about the garden?" Harzo suggested. "It's always in spring's full bloom because of a spell."
"Max, just so you know, this city was founded on Pokemon/human relationships," Daisy said. "Mr. Lobo, the mayor, is married to his Gardevoir. A good number of people here are married to Pokemon."

Nine nodded, agreeing to Harzo's suggestion. Than we can go she said, & turned towards the door, waiting for Harzo to join along.
Yeah, yeha I get that Max said, putting his hands up infront of him. But where I grew up in Johto, marrying Pokemon was just too weird. I'm just now learning about this stuff. Not that I would do thay, that is. He turned to Nine & smiled.Hvae fun he told her before turning back to the girl.

"I know. I grew up in Kanto where it was outlawed too, but I'm used to it after living here fifteen years."
Harzo smiled and walked to the door, then held it open for Nine.

Smiled & jogged out, waiting for the male to catch up before going on.
Max shrugged & walked over to the sitting area silently, garbbing another magizine.

Daisy sat down and summoned a bottle out of thin air. The infant in her arms was waking up and Daisy could tell Kalil was hungry.
Harzo smiled and caught up easily.

Kc smiled, looking at the infant once before turning away, grabiing a Pokeball. He knew that a couple of his friends had to be tired of sitting in their Pokeballs.
Ty, Inferno, Dusk! he said, throwing the three Pokeballs into the air. Come on out! Three fourms where made from the red, & then dissappeared to show three Pokemon: a Tyrainitar, Menferno & Dusknoir.
With an exitied screech, Inferno lurched forward, tackling his trainer's lap.
Inferno Max chuckled. You have to be quiet.Max put a finger to his lips, & the fire type nodded. Ty looked around silently before slowly lying down to sleep. Dusk eyed Daisy for a moment before turning to the tv & watched.

Daisy chuckled and continued to feed Kalil until the infant was satisfied.

Max smiled & got up, finding a place on the floor to sit with his Pokemon. He whirled around his Back Pack, taking out a Pokeblock case, which made Dusk whirl around. He loved treats.
You want one, too, Dusk? Max chuckled to the Pokemon.
Yes please the Pokemon said in return, only talking Pokemon so it was a private coverstaion between he & his trainer.
Me, too! Me too! Don't forget me! Inferno said, catching Dusk's drift.
Okay, then Max chuckled. He held out his hand & shook the case once, out coming two Pokeblocks. One for you he said to Inferno, tossing him one for him to catch in his mouth easily. And one for you he held out his hand to Dusk, who raised one of his hands in return. A phsycic force seemed to lift the Pokeblock out of the trainer's hand, tossing it over to the Pokemon, of whom ate it easily. Max looked to Ty. Want one? he asked the Pokemon.
But the Pokemon could only create a grunt, which only meant no in his so called "lazy launuge." Max laughed.
Well okay then he said, & looked back to the other Pokemon.

Daisy chuckled as she watched.

Max looked back to Daisy. What's so funny? he asked her. He could hear her chucklinf, & wanted to know why. Dusk agian looked werily at the girl.
Dusk... he muttered to him-self.

"I just find it enjoyable to watch how other trainers and their Pokemon interact. I just sometimes find moments like that a little comical," Daisy said, smiling.

He shurgged. What can I say? heasked. I have a very weird bond with all of my Pokemon.

Daisy smiled. "It's understandable. My sister is much the same way."

He nodded. I'm an only child he said to Daisy as he lifted one arm, Inferno hanging off of it like a tree branch. I found Nine when I was about three or four, & she seemed kind of like a sibling. Well, when she was a Vulpix, that is. Inferno dropped off onto the floor & scattered of to Ty, climbing atop of him.
Up, lazy but, up! Inferno said, bouncing up & down on him. Slowly, the monster rumbled, making the small monkey Pokemon stumble to the ground as he arouse.
Morning sleepin'g beauty Max joked. Ty wrinkled his nose, letting a small burst of air before lying down again, curling up. Fine, be that way! Max said. He chuckled before standign up, stretching a bit before sitting back in a chair.

Daisy smiled. "I'm the youngest of four. I barely knew my brother before we moved here since he's nine years older than I am and had already left home."

He nodded, looking from he infant to her again. So I take it you decided to get married here? he asked, wondering where she had gotton the infant in the first place.

Daisy nodded. "I married my traveling companion I met on my journey. We have two children: Ewosa, our eldest, a daughter, and Xadrir, our youngest, a son. This is Kalil. She's my neice.... Kiki doesn't want to take care of her, but the circumstances are understandable..." Daisy's eyes filled with emotion.

He nodded. I'm only 12 he said, trying not to make her cry too much. So I really don't plan on getting married too soon. But my dad said he met my mom when she was trying to verge from a coordinator to a trainer. My dad was going to be the first Gym Leader my mother faced. She lost, of course, because she only hade one Pokemon, which was her Perisian, Star. So, I grew up with a pretty weird family. He sighed, remembbering one horiific day.

"At least you had your parents growing up. My father died three months before I died and my mom when I was two. I had Kiki and Professor Oak raising me." Daisy sighed. "I love my sister and I loved the Professor dearly, but it just wasn't the same especially after Mom and Dad were brought back on my tenth birthday."
