Adding To The Team

He looked back confusingly. Really? he asked. He looked once at Inferno's Pokeball, then shrugged & put it away. Hewas used to battling a Pokemon then capturing them, not them coiming at will. Maybe Pokemon here are more populated or something[/b] he thought to himself.

Slowly, he walked up to the cavern. Inside, he could see a shiny Rilou. Hey there, little guy he said to him,

The Riolu looked at Max. He said, "Hello, my name is Marzin. Are you my new trainer?"

[max]

Well, if you want me to be he said to the small Pokemon. Flame came behind Max, examining the smaller Pokemon. Slowly, he lowered his head, trying to get eye level with the smaller Pokemon.

Marzin observed the trainer. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are new here and you don't know much about this place."

[max]

He shrugged. "Pretty much," he said,sitting back. "I come from Johto."

[umbreon]

"Ah." Said Marzin, "So, are you willing to keep me as your partner?"

[Blade]

Alek and Damini reached them, but stayed back so as not to interrupt.

Marzin looked at the two newcomers. "More visitors?" He said wonderingly.

[max]

Max nodded before looking up to see the "visitors." Hey he said to the old man & Pokemon.

[Blade]

Damini looked interested in the Riolu, seeing how it was his pre-evolved form. He looked away as his painful memories of being a Riolu, and being chased through a forest by people came to mind.

Marzin noticed Damini looking at him. He's a Lucario! He thought.

[max]

Max looked to Lucario silently.Something seemed to be bothering him, but decided not to ask incase it might offend him. He turned back to Marzin, noticing his awe at Damini.

Cool, huh? he asked the Riolu. I met a Lucario once. We became great friends. But we had to go a sperate ways. That's why I came here, hoping to find him because someone said they spotted a Lucario here. I was hopping to find him, if not here, some where else.

"Well, Your welcome to have me." Said Marzin.

He smiled. "Really?" he asked. "So you'll come with me?" He felt a bit happy in side, then thought for a moment. "Well," he said. "It dipeands if you want to be in a Pokeball or on my shoulder."

Marzin grinned, "On your shoulder of course!"

[max]

Max laughed. Well, you can join me now, if you want he said to the Pokemon. I promise, you'll have fun with me.

[umbreon]

Marzin grinned happily and ran to Max's side. "Fun does not matter, as long as I have a companion." He said.

[Blade]

Damini smiled, regardless of his past, this Riolu had found a friend. He looked over at Alek.
"Yes, they are a lot like us, arn't they, Damini?" Alek commented, watching the scene. He leaned against a tree, then decided to walk over. "Always remember that whatever a pokemon looks like or can do, they have feelings too. Those that don't understand this, they are often the ones who work for those organizations that use pokemon only as tools." He looked at Damini, "He has had several encounters with such people in his lifetime."

Ashia and Marzin looked at Alek curiously. "What do you mean?" They asked simultaneously.

[max]

You mean like Team Rocket, right? Max asked, trying to think of an organaztion that did such a thing. I've hade to beat them single-handedly, & didn't like what they did one bit. If I could, I would'e gone back in time & erased their exinstance. Although, he knew that most oof the reasons that his Pokemon hade always evolved was because of his encounters with Rocket, so he knew there was atleast a few good reason why not to erase their total existance.

Ashia took off and flew overhead.

[Blade]

"Even they have their worth, Max, remember this." Alek said, "If you would never use a pokemon, you would never destroy a person. All people and pokemon have feelings and beliefs. Most people in such organizations, they are decieved. Very few are truly evil."

[umbreon]

"Such as Arok!" Called Ashia overhead.

[max]

Max nodded, & looked down to Marzin, of whom sat not at his feet. Max looked back to Alek.

I know that Max said, dropping his arms. He sighed & dropped to the ground, landing on his rear next to Marzin, of whom jumped onto his lap.

Ashia burst into a fit of giggles.

[max]

What? Max asked, looking at Ashia.

Ashia, still giggling, pointed to the horizon, where Arok was flying away on burnt and tattered wings. "To bad you don't have raptor vision!"She giggled.

Arok soared away, yelling curses at everyone behind, before finally disappearing behind a mountain.

[Blade]

Alek smiled. "He must be in bad shape." He didn't seem bothered by Arok's words. "He'll be back for more defeat."

[max]

Okay.... Max said, a bib confused. And will he come back?

Ashia looked solem. "Yes. I met him before. His evil seems to make him heal much more quickly then normal people. In fact, I'm surprised that he hasn't come back sonner."
