Meeting

[Kiki]

Kiki nodded. "I see," she said.

[Blade]

Night shook his head, clearing it of his thoughts. "Well, i guess we should get back to the dogs." He looked down, "Oh no! They've disappeared!"

[Kiki]

"Don't worry. I can easily find them." She activated the Brenon, her eyes turning amber as she searched the forest.

[Blade]

"Thanks. The last thing i want is them getting loose and attacking someone."

[Kiki]

"Found 'em. They're by the lake," Kiki said. She deactivated her Brenon and ran toward the lake.

[Blade]

Night followed, then suddenly stopped. he ran over to the stump where he had left his PDA and rings, snatched them up, then charged toward where Kiki had disappeared.

[Kiki]

Kiki reached the lake and sat on the shore

[Blade]

Night showed up a couple minutes later, surprized at the size of the lake. "Wow, that's huge." He noticed the pair of Melampe. "how strange. I used to dislike those creatures, but now i worry for their safety." He laughed, "It's not easy, being a Hunter. You're forced to destroy any and all traces of the enemy, even the cubs. Those things, they're so cute... but they grow up to become a problem." Night sighed, "i just wish the hostilities would end. Not just temporarily, either, for good."

(i'm thinking of getting Anasazi, my wishgiver, to manipulate reality in Night's world so the elves find the stone they are missing and all Kiki and Night have to do is teach the people of the world how to tame the creatures.)

[Kiki]

"I bet," Kiki said. "As for the lake, this place is pretty sacred. It's got a ten thousand year old shrine to a Water goddess."

[Blade]

"huh, interesting. Guess i'll have to keep them from messing with that as they grow. These are only pups, as you probably guessed, they'll become fairly good sized. i'm thinking they'd make good watchdogs." Night was looking out across the lake, then his eyes were drawn to the pups as one yelped. "What happened?" He ran over, looking at them. One of them seemed to have slipped and fallen.

[Kiki]

Kiki walked over and bent down, then examined it with the Brenon. "It's just a scrape," she said.

[Blade]

"i've got just the thing." night said, slipping on a ring. "Search!"
A green disc, probably as thin as paper, formed at his fingertips, and he focused it on the dog creature, who's injury showed up as a red area. He closed his hand, the disc collapsing into a green beam pointed at the injury, then when he opened his hand again, the beam flew into the injury, which began to heal at a fast rate.

[Kiki]

"Interesting," Kiki said.

[Blade]

"Yes, helpful because it heals injuries externally and internally. The only thing about it is, it can only heal one injury at a time." Night smiled at the dog. "How's that feel?"

The dog stood up slowly, as though it wasn't sure, then licked his face.

[Kiki]

Kiki smiled. "I can heal injuries with magic, but not greatly. I'm skilled in Light," she said.

[Blade]

"I understand the concept of magic, the elves talk of it often, but I don't know what you mean by light." Night commented politely, "Sorry."

[Kiki]

"It's all right. At the basic root, it's healing energy from where I'm from," Kiki said.

[Blade]

"Ah, i see." Night commented, then his eyes locked on something beneath the lake's surface. "Hey, is that...?" A big shadow was moving from one side to the other, larger than most fish could get.

[Kiki]

"MIght be a Gyarados," Kiki said. "They're not that uncommon here."

[Blade]

"Hm. Gyarados are long and snake-like?" Night said, then approached the edge of the water slowly, putting on another ring. "Recruit!" A thin, white beam streched from the ring into the water, meeting the shadow. A faint glow was visable as the beam met the hidden creature, and the shadow grew as the creature rose to the surface, revealing a snake-like body with blue scales.

[Kiki]

"Looks like one to me," Kiki said. She studied the Pokemon for a moment. "Eshi."

[Blade]

"You know this one, then?" Night said, looking at the Gyarados. He glanced over at the Melampe. He saw they were playing again, staying clear of the muddy ground which had caused the first one to fall.

[Kiki]

"I know nearly all the Pokemon around here," Kiki said. "I've lived here sine I was about fifteen."

[Blade]

(Didn't she have a eternal youth spell placed on her? She looks 20-30ish though, right, or am I just messed up?)

[Kiki]

[You're right.]

[Blade]

"You've met that many, in one year!?" Night looked at Kiki oddly, then smiled. "If that's the case, i have high hopes for taming the creatures which have appeared back home!"

[Kiki]

[Crap. I messed myself up. She looks 16. My NaNoing is making my brain go "WHEE!"]

"I've had a lot of time to explore," Kiki said with a shrug.

[Blade]

(That's ok, it's fine, i'll just edit that over to read 'in one year' instead of 'in fifteen years')

"I guess. But one year, wow." night commented, surprized.

[Kiki]

"Oh heh." Kiki sweatdropped. "I'm in my thirties, but I had a spell put on me to make me look sixteen. My soul's kind of trapped about there because of being reborn."

[Blade]

(I have a question i cannot answer myself. And it has to do with Night. The thing is, he's wearing a facemask, so why have I been making him smile?)

"That's odd." Night commented, his eyes alight with exitement. "Although, that could be useful. Your skill of taming creatures will never be lost."
