Meeting

[Kiki]

"Sure," Kiki said. She gently patted one of the creature's heads, moving extremely slowly so as to not startle it.

[Blade]

The dog which had nuzzled her knee laid down next to her, while the one in her lap dropped down and jumped a little as she touched it, but let her pet it. It started pushing against her hand, enjoying the feeling of being stroked.

"very well, from this point foward," Night began a ritural which was used to appoint a new Hunter, although he changed a few words to match the new rank. "Do you swear to uphold the law, and to befriend these creatures, while teaching and easing their fear of people?"

[Kiki]

"I swear," Kiki said.

[Blade]

"Then by the power given to me as a Master Hunter, I bestow you with this PDA, and a ring." he handed over a PDA, on top of which was a ring. "Use them well to promote peace and understanding throughout the land."

[Kiki]

Kiki nodded. "I will." She put both in her pocket.

[Blade]

"The ring I have given you is a Recruit ring." Night said, the ritural over. "You will find a list of the creatures known on the PDA, as well as information on all the rings there."

(I'll pm you with some basic info)

Kiki nodded. "I can easily add it to this." She pointed to her watch. "It's like a mini supercomputer. It can store massive amounts of data. A personal invention."

[Blade]

Night nodded. "That seems useful."

The creature by her knee was napping, the other one still enjoying her attention.

[Kiki]

"It is. I can access just about any info I want," she said.

[Blade]

Night smiled. "That would be a good setup for our organization, if you wouldn't mind." He paused, then shook his head. "no, actually, i'd think it would be too advanced. Perhaps a PDA which attaches to the arm would be better? With a folding screen?"

[Kiki]

"I could come up with something like that in probably about two weeks," Kiki siad. "If not less. I'm a whiz with certain types of tech."

[Blade]

Night smiled, then laughed as the dog creature, which had been napping, lept onto him and licked his face. He heard it's belly growl, as well. "Sounds like their hungry, i remember they ate certain types of berries... but i don't know where to find any..."

[Kiki]

"Berries. That's easy," Kiki said. She gently shooed the creature that was in her lap out of it, then revealed her wings and flew off. She returned a short time later with an armful of different types of berries. SHe touched down and hid her wings, then put them on the ground and grabbed a Pecha berry. "Sweet Pecha." She took a bite.

[Blade]

The dogs sniffed at the berries, noticing a tomato berry in the bunch. One of them took a bite, then backed off shaking it's head violently. The other took a bite of a Cherry berry, and seemed to like the taste.

"looks like that one's not good." Night said, looking at the dog's reaction.

[Kiki]

"Yeah. Those things are spicy. I didn't know what they would like, so I brought any I could find," Kiki said. "At least I only brought two." She sweatdropped a bit.

[Blade]

the first one stopped shaking, then took a couple paces foward, looking for less spicy prey. it found a Pecha, and began eating.

"looks like it likes that one." Night was actually enjoying being around the creatures.

[Kiki]

Kiki smiled. "It's called a Pecha," she said. "One of the sweetest berries around these parts. You can try a few of them if you'd like. They're not harmful to humans. Well, Tamato are because they're the spiciest berries if you don't like spicy."

[Blade]

"Toss me one, would ya?" Night called.

The dogs, having finished their meal, laid down and napped.

[Kiki]

Kiki tossed a Pecha to Night.

[Blade]

"Thanks!" He took a bite, the sweet flavor making him smile. "These are really good!" He took another bite, then seemed to think as he chewed. "you know, i've been wondering what to do with these two." he pointed at the napping creatures. "They seem tame, so i was thinking maybe keeping them as pets. we'd be able to feed them, and they most likely wouldn't cause trouble..."

[Kiki]

Kiki nodded. "You could do that," she said. "I keep Pokemon around my ranch. Well over a thousand from my many travels. I know Pokemon aren't the same thing, but I'd think they pose about the same amount of danger as the creatures like these." She pointed at the dogs.

[Blade]

"We should come up with a name for them, not just call them creatures..." Night said, looking at the two peacefully sleeping.

(i'm going to be posting a thing on them in the fakemon dex, just for good measure.)

[Kiki]

Kiki nodded. "I'm not good with species names, though. I tried to come up with Fakemon in my last life... They were horrible," she said. "Bellfree... Bellossom/Butterfree hybrid." She sweatdropped, hating the memories.

[Blade]

"Ooh, yea, i guess so." Night said, then looked at the creatures. "How do you like..." he seemed to be thinking hard. "Melampe. It's a elfen word which means dark in our realm. In our realm, there are three main races, Elves, Vampires, and people. The three races often waged war against each other. Each of the three main cities are the capitals of that race's land. With the chaos the creatures have brought, the three who once fought were driven together to survive, as a prophesy foretold."

[Kiki]

Kiki nodded. "Elves can be bitches at times," she said, then folded her arms. "Raza. What a bitch...."
"Hey!" Akel'tri said. "I'm half Elf!"
"Sorry," Kiki said. "Raza is just the ruler of Kuta, Elf planet, in the 3rd Dimension. She's a major bitch. No other way to describe her. Most Elves in the 3rd D hate Fairies. I'm half."
"Right. Sorry," the net'lon said.

[Blade]

Night nodded, "Although it goes beyond that. It's not just the race, although it's part of that. The Elves blame the Vamps for stealing a precious stone. The Vamps claim they know nothing of the stone, and when the people tried to negotiate, the relationship between the two became strained. When it finally broke, the first of five wars broke out, known as the Red River Wars. I'll let you guess why it was called 'Red River'. The elves still have not regained their stone, and due to the creature's appearance have been forced to put aside the arguement for everyone's sake. However, once the creatures are no longer a threat..." He paused, "It could be disastorous." He looked down, one of the dogs having woken up and staring up at him. "Hello there." The dog looked cute, rolling on it's back as it scratched on the grass.

[Kiki]

Akel'tri huffed. "I never knew humans here were so hateful," he said.
"Akel'tri, I know why you're mad. Most Elves on Valacia are pacifists and healers," Kiki said. "I'm not saying I hate all Elves. One of my best friends is an Elf. I have a sister that's an Elf. Hell, I even hosted an Elf's spirit in my body in my first life."
"Okay," the net'lon said though he still wasn't very happy.
"War is a terrible thing," Kiki said, looking at the sky. "I've experienced it and I've stopped it. It's one of the worst things about being a sentient being and it doesn't really make sense to me." She sighed and flopped back on the grass.

[Blade]

"The war i'm speaking of is worse. It will begin suddenly. The elves are the most technologically advanced, the Vamps the man power behind mines, since they host the strength twice that of a normal being, and the humans purify the ore of the vamps. During this crisis, the elves have been making a secret weapon of, as they say, 'unbelevable power'. We have no idea what they plan to use it for, and hopefully it's for the creatures. However i do not think so, i think it's meant for the vamps, after the war with the creatures ends. With such equipment, they would be able to completely destroy the vamps. Then our mining effort would be wasted, as the miners would be gone. And finally, i don't think the stone the elves are looking for is there, so then they would come to suspect us, resulting once again in complete genocide. Then the elves wouldn't be able to get ore, or purified materials, and their culture would be broken and their country split, causing continual cival war between their country." Night knew this was a doomsday scenario, but it was the most likely.

[Kiki]

Kiki shook her head, not knowing what to say

[Blade]

Night continued, "That's why I want the creature issue resolved peacefully. That way everyone can see that even a giant threat can be befriended, and so they may be influenced to resolve their problems peacefully as well."
