Nightshade nodded and continued to scan the mountainside. She flew a little higher.

Nakil came back a short time later, letting out a shrill cry as he landed on Aedna's arm. SHe stroked his head and he took off, his tamne following. "He found it!"

"Yes!" Said Nightshade, flying away to follow Nakil.

[Kiki]

Nakil led them to a cave that barely poked out of the ground but there was enough space for a skinny person to shimmy through.

[umbreon]

Nightshade danced in mid-air before landing. "We must go inside quickly, before the the entrance seals!" She said, slipping between to two rocks.

[Kiki]

Aedna was easily able to slip through and Nakil followed

Nightshade looked around, saying, "This place is beautiful!" It truly was. Each of the wall were covered in a different evolution stone. She walked over to a wall covered in Dawn stones before a deep, rumbling voice of lava rolled over them: "No. You may not touch the stones!" And from the middle, appeared Hetran. He shook dirt off himself, and turned his great head towards the two.

Aedna stood still and clearly wasn't scared.

Hetran chuckled, the sound rolling through the air. "I know what you seek humans...." Nightshade wasn't scared much, but what if he used Magma Storm?

Aenda stood calmly. She had delt with Dragons and Hetran didn't seem like much of a danger compared to the large reptiles she had delt with.

Hetran laughed again. "You think I am not dangerous? eh? How about this!?" And he used Magma storm. Lave and stones swirled around him. "Attack me and I throw this at you!" He rumbled.

[Kiki]

Aedna closed her eyes and clasped her hands behind her back. She wasn't going to attack. It was against her nature.

Hetran chuckled. "Smart girl." He said. Nightshade backed up a bit. "We were only seeing if the legend was true!"

[Kiki]

I am not stupid, Aedna thought cooly, the thoughts clearly evident in her face. I've been around danger much worse than you. "It as Nightshade says. We just wanted to see if the legend was true."

Hetran stopped his Magma storm. He lowered his head. "My apologies. It is my duty to protect to magma stone." He said.

[Kiki]

Aedna raised an eyebrow, never having heard of it.

[umbreon]

Hetran noticed Aedna's confused look. "Come. But don't tell anyone. Moltres will kill me if she found out." he walked to a cluster of rocks and dug a hole, revealing a downward tunnel.

[Kiki]

"I swear upon my Ukati I will not." She formed the Fairy Seal of Trust with her fingers, then placed it on her heart and bowed, then followed.

Hetran nodded and walked along the rocky tunnel. It opened up to a chamber, and in the centre, was a glowing red stone that had a flame symbol carved into it. "The magma stone, my prized possesion." Said Hetran.

[Kiki]

Aedna blinked, clealy impressed

Hetran nodded. "Beautiful isn't? It controls all the fire types in the world, so it must have utmost security. Nobody's caught me yet because they can't. If they do, I will have to leave the stone unprotected....And that could mean the end of our world...."

[Kiki]

"I thought that Fasheno was the root of all Fire types," Aedna said. She was quite educated on Gine and the history of Hachi thanks to Kiki.

[umbreon]

"Yes, but this controls the legendaries. Me, Moltres, Groudon, and Entei." Said Hetran. Nightshade floated in the air, near Hetran.

[Kiki]

"All Pokemon are supposed to be decended from the Nine Guardians. Must I spell the legend out?"

[umbreon]

Nightshade nodded. Hetran just looked with mild intrest. "Remember we legendaries are many eons older then you."

[Kiki]

"I am aware, but the Guardians date to the Beginning," Aedna said. Though she wasn't a native of this part of the dimensiion, she knew a lot.

Nightshade said, "Please begin."

"In the beginning, there were nine Pokemon elements, much like on my home planet of Valacia. Each of these elements had a Guardian Pokemon. Norataishe, the Bird of Light, ruled Light which evolved to the types of Psychic and Normal. Kuronosha, the Bird of Darkness, ruled Darkness which evolved into Dark and Ghost. Taiyomanshe, the Dog of Sun, ruled Sun which evloved into Eletricity. Zukino, the Dog of Moon, ruled Moon which evloved into Steel and Poison. Hoshinohe, the Dog of Star, ruled Star which evloved into Dragon and Bug. Fasheno, the Bird of Fire, ruled Fire which stayed as Fire. Ameshona, the Bird of Water, ruled Water which evloved into Water and Ice. Terramane, the Dog of Earth, ruled Earth which evloved into Fighting, Rock, Ground and Grass. Kazepana, the Bird of Wind, ruled Wind which became Wind.
"They lived for many mellinia in peace together, the species of Pokemon evolving. Some went extinct, others thrived. Then humans came.
"In the First Region, which is now called Gine, formed a civilization that built the city of Hachi. Several thousand years passed and their technology flourished.
"A thousand years ago, the king of Hachi went to ask the Guardians for a favor. He tried to pay them off, but they would not allow it. The princess, Oroshi, warned them of the king's plan to kill them. They sunk the city beneath the waves. Most of the original Pokemon have been lost, but a few survive such as Ombreon."

Nightshade looked startled. Hetran nodded. "Fasheno....My grandfather. Before he vanished he sired a child, who name was Entei. She became my mother. She was the first Entei."

[Kiki]

Aedna nodded. "They are all alive in the Gine. They just hide because humans want their power. Also, if anything were to happen to them, the Pokemon of the types decended from them would be affected. Persay Fasheno died, all Fire types would die."
