Night shrugged. "Still isn't an excuse to stand there when someone's in danger." He continued walking. "In my world, standing still like that is very costly. Sure, you make mistakes, pick the wrong battles, lose a limb or two. But you can still assist those people who need you. That, my friend, is what the Hunters live for."

"Need I remind you that this isn't your world?" Ombreon snapped. She looked up and saw Matsu leaning against a tree, his eyes blazing in anger. He walked over to Night.
"Bastard!" the Ice Alchemist snapped. "Do you have any idea how upset Ayami is?!"
"Matsu! Calm down!" Inari ran over. "Please, don't start another fight. I know Aya-chan is upset but please... Don't start another fight."
"Quiet, Inari!" Matsu snapped, causing his twin sister to flinch.
"This is not going to end well," Ombreon muttered. "Matsu, calm down."
"You shut up!" Matsu snapped at Ombreon. "This has nothing to do with you!"
"Looks like I have no other choice." Ombreon moved quickly and appeared behind Matsu, then applied pressure to a pressure point, causing the Ice Alchemist to pass out.

"And you did that why?" Night asked. "Now that i've collected all of Anasazi's artifacts, that guy was no more threatening than a flea. And of course, i'd only have fought if he made the first move."

"I'm sick of watching fighting," Ombreon said. "Inari, get your brother out of here." Inari nodded and picked her brother up though she was still half dragging him. "I've spent over 1300 years fighting. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of even watching it. Being with Kiki two lifetimes did this to me. People like Matsu piss me off now. Granted, I still act tough, but that's just the way I am."

"That'll ensure he's out for eight hours," Ombreon said. "Inari's the tracker and that only goes up to fifty kilometers. And yeah, I know that, but I'm just sick of it. I was constantly abused and used for my power. Until Kiki, I hadn't known the kindness of trainers. We didn't get along at first, but when I understood she wouldn't hurt me, we became close. We're literal soul mates. We're in love, but...it's a different love. It's not something that would be good for marrige. It's impossible to explain" She shook her head. "Let's just get back. After that, she'll probably be a bit worried. We've already been gone six hours." She looked at the setting sun.

Night nodded. "Lead the way, then."
(He's currently in a interesting part of his life, where he's trying to figure out how to best become the Champion Anasazi wished him to be. He's just confused, and trying to figure it out himself. He'll find the best way to complete his task is to be confident in his abilities, and just be himself.)
