"Hm, well even they are not of the same caliber as the assassins I've lived around. These guys are masters of not being seen, and if for some reason they are seen, they'll kill you before you make a sound."

Akel'tri scratched his head. "Makes me think of certain lunoi I know."

"In our organization, there are three classes of assassins. Normal, who have no powers, Dependant, whose powers depend on their surroundings, and Independant, who can call on their powers whenever and wherever." He looked around, "I'm an Independant."

Akel'tri nodded. "

"Each group has it's advantages and disadvantages. Dependants and Independants have a higher base body heat, so they can be discovered easier by people who can see the difference. In areas where there is lots of tech, for instance, dependabt and independant assassins stand a higher chance of discovery." He paused, "Dependabts shine when their job is nearest the element which they can control. For example, a water assassin would work best on an overseas mission, while a grass assassin would be most useful on land." He looked around, "Independants don't have many restrictions, but there are few of us. So we usually get the missions where there's no obvious choice, such as if the target is in a concrete bunker."

"Akel'tri, come look at this." Inari tugged on his arm. "Okay." He smiled and walked a ways off with her to a pond.

X390 was curious, so he followed.
(can we have something happen, like some pokemon leap out at X390? I wanna zap something...)

A Glaceon had broken a small hole in the ice on the pond and was lapping at it. "Interesting. I haven't seen a Glaceon so far from the mountains or tundra before," Akel'tri said. "I know it's cold, but don't you think it'd be a bit warm for it?" Inari asked.

X390 decided to try to pick the pokemon's mind.

"Hey!" Akel'tri waved his hand in front of X390's face. "It didn't do anything to you. Just leave it alone. Pokemon are sentient just like us."

Arok hid in the bushes. Not something he'd do willingly, but his last attack from the air nearly got his wings melted off. He gingerly touched a small cluster of scars on his wing. He grimaced. Wait. He grimaced? He wasn't supposed to have feelings. He turned to the sence in front of him. A strange fellow he knew as x390. Once evil, now gone traitor. Arok quietly waited for his moment, slightly opening his wings, before folding them so tightly they were invisible. He put on his black mask, and his mail-backed gloves. They glinted momentarily in the sun.

X390 turned around to face Arok. "So, all is not as it seems here." he looked iratated, probably because he didn't like being interrupted. "And I was going to see how it felt about the temperature here, Akel'tri. Reading the mind of a non-sentient being is a waste of energy."

"Hmph." The Glaceon looked rather angry. "Some humans." She held her head up and walked away.

X390 shrugged. "Thats not the first being I've angered, and it won't be the last." Turning to Arok, he said "Now, what do you want?"

Before he answered, Arok jumped into the air and spread his jet black wings. He landed nearby. "Nothing." He lied, grinning. In truth he wanted blood, suffering, and chaos. His sword rasped and glinted green with poison as he drew it. He tucked his wings in and used magic to make them harder then diamond.

"I can sense your thoughts." X390 growled, "And although I'm not looking for trouble, I will not flee if it comes." His beam sword was in his hand a second later, fully extended.

"Inari, behind me." Inari moved behind AKel'tri who revealed his blue and silver wings.

Arok rolled his eyes. He craved blood. He turned invisble and covered up his presense by making it seem he wasn't there. He remembered Jultan's shock when plasma didn't melt his blade, due to the special dragon poison he had stolen off the nature spirit Arya. He grinned, and stalked off to the side. He remembered how some could see through invisibility.

"Fifteen meters to the right," Inari said, staring straight at Arok. With her alchemy specializing in anything to do with the earth though mostly crystal, she was able to pinpoint anybody up to about 16 kilometers [10 miles] away. "You think a stupid invisibility spell is going to work on me?" Akel'tri said. "I have over three hundred years of experience. It'll take a lot to fool me."

"I have this." X390 said, holding out his hand. A coil of electricity flew at the point where Inari had said Arok was at. "If you are going to fight, FIGHT FAIRLY."

Arok rolled skillfully to the side, his wings unhardening. He flew straight up into the air, his sword glinting evily. His jet wings black against the clear sky, he gathered a ball of darkness, and made a dark pulse that surrounded the area in darkness, marking a battlefeild.
((Just remember, Ashia's gonna be here soon.))

X390 reached out with his mind, hoping to get ahold of Arok, then send him crashing into the ground.

Arok felt the presense, and jabbed at x390's conciousness with daggers of pain before blocking his mind with a powerful sheild of anger. He collected various elements from the air and threw the collected ball at x390.

(Uh, that was Telekinesis, not an attack on the mind. So if Arok blocks his mind from X390, it doesn't make his body evade the grab, which means Arok would most likely have slammed Arok into the ground by then. But since i didn't make it clear the first time, i'll let it go as-is.)
X390 used his Telekinesis to deflect the ball of elements, then reached out, another coil of electricity launching itself at Arok. After this, however, X390 held his beam sword with telekinesis while he outstretched his other hand, creating multiple coils reaching for Arok.

Arok sent tendrills of darkness and fear to combat the other tendrills. He intentionally folded his wing and plumetted several feet before opening them again and landing safely.

X390 smiled. "You are good. But can you handle THIS!?" He began building electrical energy, preparing to unleash a large storm.

Arok waved his hands and a dragon of pure darkness formed. It couldn't be destroyed unless Arok willed it. After doing that, he made a sheild of darkness to protect himself from the storm. The darkness dragon roared and stomped toward x390. It raised it's swirling black claws, preparing to slash.

The Darkness Dragon roared and then the darkness melt into the ground, reforming a few feet away in the form of a Manticore. Arok grinned and slashed his blade towards x390's shoulder while a shadow blade came from the front, slashing at his chest.

X390 didn't seem worried, but instead rocketed into the air, evading both blades with relative ease. After landing a distance away, he reached out, his goal to grab Arok and hurl him into the Shadow Manticore.
(again, he's trying to get Arok in telekinesis)
