Ginger leaned against a large pile of pillows, watching the flames of the blaze before her. She put a hand on her grand middle as the pups inside her wiggled, their movement visible underneath her bare skin. Her stomach churned in hunger as she smelt her mate's hunt roasting on the rotisserie. She closed her eyes, the elder would becoming any day now to choose which of the babies would be taken for training, though it was a few weeks until the little ones arrived. It was a long process for the elder to choose the worthy ones, hence why everything started before the birth.
