Elry ran at her top speed which was fairly quick because of her Yeneo blood. Eventually, they reached a lake and were hidden by bushes. On the other side of the lake was the guy who was holding Sabriel. She looked fine other than she was crying from fright.

The guy looked up and Sabriel looked around, terrified. "What's going on?" the guy snarled. Elry melded into the shadows, using the blizzard of feathers to her advantage.

"Yo, Chameleon!" Elry tossed a ball of Shadow at him and he flipped back. "I'm your opponent!"
"I won't let the girl get away!" Chameleon melded into the shadows as well, but Elry kept up with him and kept him at bay. Shadow magic flew every which way.

Elry stopped fighting the Chameleon, her heart pounding and breathing labored. The Chameleon, however, just smirked at her. "Guess the old aren't always superior to the young." He charged a large ball of shadow at her, preparing for the killing blow.

HE fired the ball at her, but it deflected. "You won't harm my grandaughter." Zerza appeared, extremely pissed. The Chameleon fell backward.
"Bye!" He disappeared.
