Hazira sat down and sighed. I'm travelling with people I don't even know. What's gotten into me? Mom always taught me to be more careful.... She shook her head and dug a small, clear orb out of her pocket along with a small collection of dried herbs she had crushed into powder the day before.

Jayden set down his little sister and went looking for firewood. Miki smiled and sat down.
"Thing's will get harder as we continue to move toward the source of this evil." Zaylee stated. "It's best that we be aware of our surroundings."

Hazira nodded and looked in her book, rolling the small orb in her fingers. So if I mix these two together, I'll get an explosion... If I mix those two together, I'll get smoke... She tapped her chin, trying to decide what combination to make next.
