[I'm thinking that the reason he feels so comfortable with her is because they've begun to form a soul bond, although right now, it's too weak a bond for anyone to detect and it'll grow stronger, but it'l be a few months forum time before it's strong enough that they start to develop romantic feelings for each other.]
