[We could say that Gishon pulls Arvain into the Beam as well.]

He groaned.

[kratos]

"Please, brother. Let me go."
"It's ready!" Piccolo took aim. "Special Beam Cannon!" The powerful energy shot forth headed for Gishon.
"I won't die alone!" With what strength he could muster, Gishon grabbed Arvain and pulled him into the beam, which shot through both of them.

[Zappy]

Arvain gasped as his life force seeped from him.

[kratos]

"I always imagined I'd kill you, but I never thought it would be like this," Piccolo said.
"To think...you puny weaklings actually beat me." Gishon chuckled weakly. "But it's not over. This scouter of mine has been sending everything we've said to my allies in space. 2 of them, far stronger than me. They'll be here in a year, and they'll avenge me. How sweet is that victory now?"

[Kiki]

Sonri got the door opened and screamed when she saw Arvain.

[Zappy]

Arvain looked over at her and grinned childishly, then turned back to Piccolo. "Y-you got one year...prepare...Dragon Balls..."

[kratos]

"Heh heh. The other 2 will wipe you out." Piccolo blasted Gishon with Ki, finishing him off.
"I was getting sick of his smart mouth." He looked over at Arvain. "One year doesn't seem like much. You better do some incredible training in the Otherworld. We'll bring you back before the fight."

[Kiki]

Sonri wobbled over.

[kratos]

Piccolo looked over at Sonri. "Hey runt. You're coming with me."

[Zappy]

"I-I got this... Don't I always?"

[Kiki]

"I gotta go to the freaking hospital to get this concussion treated... And I'm no runt. I'm twenty-two." SHe looked down at her best friend, sorrow filling her eyes.

[kratos]

Piccolo just scoffed. "If you're going to let a little concussion slow you down, you'll never last against the Saiyans still to come. I'll train you. Follow what I say and you might survive."

[Kiki]

"'Scuse me for not wanting to be permanently brain damaged and get one of my most useful abilities back!" she snapped. "My technopath powers are fried no thanks to the concussion! They could be extremely useful, you green bean!"

[kratos]

"Oh, for goodness sake, fine." He put his hand on her head, being able to heal slightly. He managed to heal the concussion, but nothing else. "There. Happy now?"

[Zappy]

Arvain was dead and stuff by this time.

[Kiki]

"Thank you. Well, I guess it couldn't hurt since you are so powerful."

[kratos]

[Technically, his body should have faded. I'll play Kami and King Kai when he shows.]

"Don't expect it to be easy, though. You need to get ready for a major battle."

[Kiki]

"I'm not some helpless ninny. I've trained under Master Roshi for a long time. I'm a girl, but that does not mean I'm weak. That guy was more powerful than I was!"

[Zappy]

His body faded as he passed on.

[kratos]

"Exactly, and his allies who are coming in a year will be even stronger than him. That's why it's better for us both if we train together."

Kami stood with Arvain at King Yemma's desk. "All right, let's see here," the big man said, looking through his book. "So, you're Arvain. And you want to train with King Kai."

[Kiki]

She nodded.

[Zappy]

"Yup!"

[kratos]

"First thing's first," Piccolo said, focusing on his arm. Soon, a new one grew in place of the one he lost. "Now, follow me." He took off.

"I see. By what Kami has told me, you've saved the world a number of times. In light of that, I suppose you've earned the right to train with King Kai."

[Zappy]

"Sweet! Um...where's this King Kai guy?"

[Kiki]

She followed.

[kratos]

"I'll have one of my assistants show you to the head of Snake Way. Cross Snake Way and you'll find King Kai. Now, get moving. I'm a very busy man."

Piccolo soon landed in a mountainous region. "All right, show me what you can do."

[Zappy]

"Yes, sir!" He jogged off to the assistant.

[Kiki]

After she finished, several of the mountains had gaping holes in them.

[kratos]

"You've got a lot of power, but it doesn't seem you're able to keep it up for too long." He took a stance. "Try to hit me."

The assistant led Arvain to Snake Way. "They say it's a million miles long. Since you're dead, you won't have to worry about food and water or sleep. Best get started."

[Zappy]

He nodded and took off, running down the Snake Way.
