Lucas squinted, looking hard.
Sora smiled. "This is so great, it's been too long since we've been together like this."
Daniel nodded, poking at the coals in the fire pit. Never thought I'd be back here... Lucas smiled as Sora showed him all the different constellations. Daniel bit his lip, trying not to cry as he saw himself and Nana doing the same. Nana....I miss you so much...

"Excuse me..." Daniel got up and walked down to the beach.
"Papa sad?" Lucas asked.
"This place probably has a lot of painful memories for him Lukey," Sora said.

"Why?"
Sora sighed. "I guess it's because this is the place where everything changed for him." she ran her fingers through her hair. "I was really little when I went home with Papa once when he was in college, but I remember seeing all the pictures with him and Nana. He was a really sweet kid, but after she died he started rebelling against everybody in his house. I think it was because he just wanted somebody to notice him. I remember people at the college talking about how Papa used to act out in his classes and towards others before John and I came around."
Lucas blinked, trying to take it all in.

"For the longest time, yes. Nana raised Daniel as her own from the day his father put him in her arms."
Daniel cried on the beach. "Nana...."

"I was so horrible after she died, all the care takers quit and I was sent here since they got tired of me. Nana was the only one who cared for me. I lived with her on her quarters on the grounds since I was a baby. She raised me as her own. I just feel that I let her down sometimes."

"I was just a kid when she died, when she passed away Dad took me into the main house. I though he wanted me finally, I worked to hard to act like his other kids. I talked properly, dressed how they dressed, worked twice as hard to get their grades in school, to get into the schools they went to. But he ended up ignoring me, they looked down on me. I snapped and started doing the opposite of them. I grew my hair out, I acted out, disappear for days. I wanted them to look at me. Lookin gback I was such a dick to everybody in college..."
