Daniel smiled and headed with him to the dining hall. Sora was already there, Namika was in her seat. Lucas was reaching for one of the realistic plastic fruits.

"Sorry," they muttered.
Daniel sat down next to Namika's high chair.
Lucas blinked as a few of the cooks came out with covered silver platters.
"Tonight's special is peking duck, with a vegetable stir fry, and shrimp wonton soup," the head cook stated as his employees set the plates down and removed the lid. "Bon appetite."
"Yay! Mexican food!" Lucas shouted.

"I think that'll be enough for tonight, but thank you," Daniel said.
The cook nodded and went back to the kitchen.
"Wow...That duck was great," Sora said. "Papa did you get to eat like that all the time when you were younger."
"Pretty much, but I still prefer Nana's cucumber sandwiches over anything."
"Who Nana?" Lucas asked.
"She was my care taker when I was little."
"You Daddy or Mommy no do that?"
Daniel was silent, shaking his head. It was still a sensitive subject for him.
