In the beginning, there was only Idaendra, who was a little girl when time began. She was the first to Sleep, and as such, the first to Dream. Her Dreams came to life, and she Dreamed up a lively world. Along with this, she Dreamed herself to be an impossibly beautiful woman.
The day after her first Dream, she walked alongside the ocean, speaking with the dolphins. They planted in her mind the idea to Dream herself friends to spend her life with. Delighted with the idea, the young girl slept soundly the next night, and awoke the next morning surrounded by her Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses. Along with these, she had created her lover, Eilor.
Now as fate would have it, Durnik, the God of Valor and Honor, vied for the heart of Idaendra with his brother, Eilor. At first, their contest was simply that, a contest. But, as Durnik grew closer and closer to winning the heart of Idaendra, Eilor, fearful for losing his love, crept upon her while she slept. He planted in her mind the first Nightmare. Idaendra tossed and turned throughout the night, fearful of what had happened to her once beautiful Dreams.
The next morning she awoke, weeping as she looked about her Pantheon, now plagued with the original Gods and Goddesses' Opposites. Tears in her eyes, she turned upon Eilor, her former lover, and banished him and his dreadful Opposites to the Multiverse, away from her beautiful world.

tl;dr: Evil People were banished from a world, appear in Pokeopolis, and destroy stuff, trying to get back to their home world.
