Unity looked around happily. Jevi yawned as she padded after Unity. Chirev had fluttered off into the night.

Albert looked to the couch and saw an Absol curled up there. "Oh, I didn't think you'd already be here."
The Absol stretched and got up, then padded over beside him. "Unity, this is my girlfriend, Destiny," Albert said, petting the Absol.

Unity nodded and made a sign that clearly meant hello.

Destiny smiled. "You're a shy one. Well, I need to get on home. I stayed here so I could meet the child Albert adopted." Destiny headed out the door.
"Just between you and me, Destiny and I have been dating for 9 months now and I think the time is finally right to ask her to marry me, but I'm waiting for just the right moment to give her this." He went to his fireplace and got a finely carved wooden case. He opened it to reveal a masterfully crafted necklace with rubies, diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and topaz stones set in it.

She nodded and took a notebook and pencil out of her backpack. We left right before dinner at the orphanage, she wrote, then showed it to him.

The next morning, Unity was up bright and early. She was sitting outside as songbirds and smaller Pokemon gathered around her.
