"Jessina, Nessus. Last night, one of the wandering spirits around here possesed one of the Brownies' Gingerbread Men. We need to capture the little bugger. I heard it went into the barn."

"Well, in the deep part of the forest, we had an evil leprechaun trapped by high walls. But a wing-shedding bat's wings fell onto him, and he got out. Now he's broken out and tormenting the forest creatures. Get over there and stop him. after you knock him out, bring him to me, and let me take care of it."

She sensed them, but didn't turn around to alert them she knew they were there.

One of them quietly walked to the window. "Come on!" He whispered, walking to the bucket and pully used for feeding the weird cats that lived up there.
"No! It's too dangerous!" Another said, slowly crawling torwards an opening in the wall.

"Go!" The other one whispered, jumping onto the hole in the wall. Two others followed. The three fell onto a life-saving haybail. The other was already in the bucket, unable to see.

"All right, Jensin!" The hawk fluttered off her shoulder and split into several copies. One grabbed the gingerbread man out of the bucket and the other three followed the trio of cookie men.

"GAH! Back! Stop eating my legs!" The man started beating on the hawk.
"You'll never catch me! I'm a gingerbread man!" One of the other Gingerbread Men exclaimed, divong into a small hole. "Whoo, I'm safe." Red eyes glew behind him in the tunnel. "Ah, crap."

"You little- LET ME GO!" The man squirmed and almost got out of her hands. "EIHER LET ME GO OR EAT ME!"
"Can I have the others?" Nessus asked.

"Go for it," Jessina said. She tapped the gingerbread man on the head and he went back to being a cookie.

"Only two left. One of them was eaten by a snake creature." Nessus dashed out, chasing the two. He finally kept up and picked them up. He them proceded to eat them. "The Brownies make wonderful desserts!"
