A girl with long sapphire hair walked along the path on the side of the volcano, searching for an Arcanine. More specifically, a flying Arcanine.

There were many Growlithe and Arcanine around the path, but none that had wings. They all watched the girl as she passed by.

Aaera[pronounced area] frowned as she flipped her blue bangs out of her eyes. Why can't I find one? She thought to herself.

"A flying Arcanine..." She replied, looking down at the Growlithe, knowing she probably sounded silly.

"Sure." The Growlithe turned, panting happily, and lead her up the trail a bit to a small cave. "Hey dad!"
A large Arcanine came out of the cave. "Yeah?"

She bowed in respect to him. "Have you ever seen a winged Arcanine, sir?"

"A winged Arcanine. I'm afraid no such thing exists, however there is another pokemon species that looks identical to us Arcanine, but has wings. It is known as a Valhalion, yet they are nearly legendary. I do however know where to find one, but I must warn you, the one I know is a little odd in the head."

The Arcanine led Aaera further up the path until they came to a giant Valhalion, at least 3 times as big as a normal Arcanine, lying on her back in the heat. "There she is."

The Arcanine stopped her a second. "I'd recommend not befriending her unless you're willing to be her mate. When she's in the mood or in heat, she'll go both ways."
