Kiki blinked when the phone rang. "Hello? Oh, Coral! You called Kay this morning? What did she say?" There were several minutes of silence. "SHoulda figured... But I know... WHat?!"

A few weeks later, Kay was standing outside. Today was the day. She'd been working for weeks without Mithos suspecting a thing and that was the way it was supposed to be. It was less than ten minutes until Kratos would appear to begin the final battle with Mithos. Kay had relayed everything to Kiki through the notebook they shared and through Coral. The blood seal on her had been reversed and honed to their advantage.

"Wind style. That thing will plow right through my Chidori."

"I hope this works." The lightning surrounded Kratos' arm, then was surrounded by fire. "Secret Jutsu: Blazing Chidori!" The two dashed at each other. The two techniques met in a fiery explosion.

When the flames subsided, Mithos was covered in burns, but so was Kratos. "You've dug your own grave," Mithos said. "Now, Hidan's blood seal is on you. Anything you do to me happens to you, but unlike you, I can't die!"
