Moonlight shone down, covering the ground in silver like snow. A lone figure stood in the middle of a vast plain, a house some distance behind her. Small tufts of fire drifted around her as she looked up.
“Mother, what am I going to do?” She folded her hands and looked to the moon. It had been four months since that day, the one that had completely changed her life. The day the Blackwinds had attacked her.
A gentle breeze blew, stirring her fiery red hair, and she closed her eyes. The presence was so familiar and comforting. She was glad Mother still cared about her. “Do not fret, child. I will watch over you.” The voice was so gentle on the wind, meant only for her. “It is not good for you or the little one, Isenna.”
Isenna put her hands on her slightly swollen middle. She was four months along and grew more terrified everyday. She knew it wasn't good for her or the baby, but she couldn't help it. The fact Forrest was constantly looking over her didn't help, either.
She closed her eyes and a tear trickled down her cheek. She wanted the child so badly, but was so afraid. What if the Blackwinds came back? It'd been four months, but the fear remained. She hadn't flow in that time, either, because of the fear. Oh, how she missed that freedom...
Soft footsteps made Isenna turn on her heel. Her heart pounded in her chest, then she breathed a sigh of relief when he wrapped her arms around her. She should have figured it was Forrest; he hadn't been far from her since the attack. She couldn't help but always be on guard, though...
“Hey, what's up?” he asked quietly. He kissed her head and she closed her eyes. She felt so safe in his arms though he hadn't been able to protect her that day.
“Not much...” She rested her head on his chest and under his chin. So much had happened that had changed their relationship, pushed them apart, but pulled them closer.
“How are you...?” She looked up at him and saw the pain in his eyes. He still clearly felt like he couldn't protect her fully.
“I'm fine, Forrest. I swear...” She knew her aura was betraying her worry. He kissed her head again and she smiled a bit. She was so glad to have him. An immortal like herself, someone so loyal he would die for her. She couldn't ask for anyone better.
His hands traced down her front and rested on her swollen middle. She knew he felt response for her since the attack, that he had to protect her at all times. She didn't mind and actually wanted him there, but she still wanted breathing room. “Isenna...”
“Hm...?” She closed her eyes again and sighed. Everything could go wrong and she was so worried...
“I love you.” He held her tightly, but not so tightly that it would be uncomfortable for her. She smiled and bit and he kissed her deeply. She kissed back, glad to be in his gentle, protective embrace.
Another gentle wind blew up and Isenna broke away from him. Mother was trying to speak to her again. “What's wrong?” Forrest asked quietly. His aura flared with worry and his voice had an edge.
“Mother. She's trying to speak.” Isenna closed her eyes and soon found herself in a dark void with a white-haired woman. Mother, the Creator of their world, her grandmother in a sense. “Mother, what is it you need to say?”
Mother lifted her head to Isenna and she was pierced by a sharp sadness. The blue eyes that were normally so full of happiness were filled with grief. “Isenna... Your child has a destiny. To stand against Zaeyst. She was conceived while some of his magic was still inside of you. She is bound to him along with Faith and Unity.”
Isenna looked at Mother, horrified. Her child was going to stand against the root of all evil? That couldn't... Mother had to be lying. But the look on the Creator's face told her she wasn't. Isenna fell to her knees, crying. Her child was most likely going to die in a battle for good and evil.
“No...” The word was barely a breath as it escaped Isenna's lips. She put her hands on her middle. This wasn't supposed to be happening. Her child was an immortal, yes, a Pokemorph as well, yes, but not a pawn. Her child was supposed to grow up happy and as normally as possible... Mother began to approach Isenna, but the Moltres morph opened her eyes, refusing to speak to the Creator for a time.
Hot tears streamed down Isenna's face and Forrest blinked, clearly confused. She kissed him, closing her eyes. All she wanted was comfort from him right now. “Isenna...?” She just shook her head when he spoke. She just wanted to sit in silence with him.

Forrest kissed Isenna and she smiled tiredly. She had just delivered their first child, a daughter. She looked exactly like Forrest with her jet black hair and light brown eyes. “She's beautiful,” he muttered and Isenna nodded. “What should we name her?”
She fell silent for a moment, thinking. She wanted to sleep, but this was far more important. “Soliena. Forever flies free.”
