Delilah sat new to her newly wed husband, a surprisingly shy blond. She messed with the napkin in her lap, she was anxious to get out of the white gown she was wearing. She glanced down the table at her father then across the room at Daniel. I hope he's alright with being in the same room as him...
"Something wrong, Love?" Demetri asked quietly.
"No, nothing's wrong," Delilah said.
Daniel looked around the room as he sipped his water. He felt that they were looking at him. Now I remember why I wanted to leave so badly...But I wasn't going to have Delilah go through this on her own.
"Papa you alright?" Lucas asked.
"I'm fine Lucas."

Jydna sighed as she looked at Delilah. I feel bad for her, being forced to marry someone she doesn't know...
John sat next to Daniel.

Mr. Hankins stood up, tapping his glass. "A toast to the newly weds, may your marriage be a long and happy one."
"Here here," most of the congregation said.

Jydna shook her head. This isn't the middle ages. People souldn't be forced to marry people they don't love.

Delilah stood up. "Thank you father." She put on a fake smile but it was real enough to convince nearly the whole group of guests. "Now let the festivities begin."
Music started playing and people started toward the dance floor.

Jydna shook her head. She knew Delilah pretty well and knew she was suffering a lot. She put her head down on the table.

"Shall we dance Love?" Demetri asked, standing up and bowing to Delilah.
It's not like I have a choice... "Sure," she said cheerfully, taking his hand.
Sora smiled. "Papa go dance, you can't hide all night behind the table."
"Can and will, Sora," Daniel said.
"They'll have to find out sooner or later."

Lucas hugged Jydna.
Sora stood up and grabbed Daniel's hand. "Come on, you're not going to mope around all night." She pulled him to his feet. "Now dance with your husband."

Daniel was a little tense at first, but relaxed after a while when he saw that they weren't paying any attention to him.

Daniel smiled as he and John danced, resting his head o his shoulder. A moment later he yelped in surprise, causing the couples around him to look at him strangely. His face turned beet red. "Sorry," he muttered.

Delilah walked outside, breaking away from Demetri. She gripped the stone railway. Why'd I go through with this?! I haven't seen him, up until a few months ago, since I was ten! She looked out at the grove of blossoming trees.
