"You know it's going to be impossible to catch those two, right?" A combination D- and T-Walker that was a priestess in this timeline walked over. She was speaking English to them. This was her home timeline, though. "Yira and Nero are way too good to be caught by you two. Nora's just testing you; she knows you'll never catch them."

"Those two have never been caught for all their infractions except by me. ANd that's only cuz Nora's my mom. I know her better than anyone except maybe Aunt Flora. Just spend a few hours chasing them and admit you haven't been able to catch them. Mom'll understand." She smiled and winked. "I promise you this is just a test to eac other's loyalty as well as your abilities."

A couple of hours later, Mordecai walked out of the Lines with Okela in front of the fountain, sighing.

She also sighed. "I told you that you wouldn't catch them," the Walker from earlier said. She was sitting on the fountain's edge. "Those two are too good to be caught. It's just a test."

Sora waved. "Hi Mom."
"She's right, you two; I knew it was a wild goose chase. I also knew they had broken the laws. I wanted to test your loyalty to each other and perseverance. You did an extremely admirable job. Nobody except Sora has been able to stay on their tail that long. I'm highly impressed."

Okela smiled and hugged Mordecai. "You're just to stay in the main stream of time." Okela groaned.
"But...they're all crazy there!" She clearly meant the Tsukino family.
"You didn't think you'd get off that easily, did you?"
