Synco opened the doors, with plates in his arms. "Okay, guys! Brake it up! Break it up! Breakfast is here!." He said, giving out the plates.

Akea smiled as he ate and touched the amethyst that had replaced the quartz. She nodded as she smiled.

Akea got the three beryl out again, watching them swirl around. After I get to the Fifth Degree, I'll have to find one more of each stone... She sighed a bit, then shook her head, determined. Mistress did it. I can do it too.

One of the beryl shot at Liz, cutting a few strands of her hair off, but not harming her otherwise. Akea put her hands over her mouth in horror. "Sorrysorrysorry!" she gasped. "I didn't do that! It did it on its own! The beryl protects against enemies! Not that you're an enemy; it just doesn't like intrusion into others' minds! "

Liz watched her ponytail fall off. "That's it!" Jalen held her back as Liz tried to attack Akea.

Akea wiped away a tear and forced the three beryls back into her pouch, leaving only the normal clear quartz floating in the air.
