When it was dinner time, Maxie was able to lift the oil with ease. He went to the fridge, heated up the leftovers, and made a plate for mom. "Mom, wake up. I heated up some leftovers for dinner so you didn't have to make dinner. Here." Maxie handed her the plate of leftovers.

Yuski folded her arms, thinking. "Not many meet with Mother because the Pantheon is really picky about who gets to speak with her. They'd consider this useless, but I can always call on a favor from Kiki. She's tight with the Pantheon."

She rubbed her chin thoughtfully, then snapped her fingers. "Winter's the perfect time to learn Ice magic." She walked outside and the snow swirled around her, becoming a pure ice pillar. "Try to freeze the water. That's way harder."

"Okay!" Maxie sat down, put the budsin for his Cd player, and started trying to freeze the bowl of water. He tried until night, but no avail. He yawned. "This is quite a challenge. Guess I'll turn in." He took his buds out and fell asleep in his bed.
