After a while, Yuski finished the song, holding out the last note for a good time before dropping the note. "The Tears of Fate..." Verasha said.

"Wow. Most people are moved by Sacreds, the pure sound," Verasha said to Yuski. She nodded, then started playing the Lullaby of Moon, another slow song.

The next morning, Yuski was outside and it looked like spring for around four hundred meters around the house in a perfect circle.

Maxie woke up and saw the ring of spring. He ran out. "Let me guess, you used a couple of elements to make a training ring?"

"Combined a few Sacreds. The Chanal of Fire, the Whisper of Light, Melody of Nature, Refrain of Earth, Lyric of Sun. Those songs I was playing last night were Sacreds. It's extremely advanced music, able to only be learned by Council members."

"Very nice," Yuski said. She took a fan out of her pocket and flared it open. "This is going to feel so good." She tossed it hard and it came careening back at her as she sent another fan out. The two clashed, sounding like steel on steel. They came back at Yuski and she clearly fell into a choreographed dance.

"Fandancing," Yuski said as she continued dodging the fans. "it's...a priestess thing." She backflipped and bounced off one of her hands, catching the fans and closing them. "Also a great sport, but extremely deadly."

Yuski got a bowl of water and sat it on the table. "You'll first need to master Water. It's the easiest Element to work because it's the most predictable."

"Okay." Maxie sat down and focused on the bowl. A drop of water raised from the bowl, then it fell back. "Need a little practice, I guess."

Yuski headed into the back where a dry room was that had herbs hanging up in it. She looked over them, checking their progress.

Maxie kept on practicing with the water until he could get all of the water out of the bowl, which took about an hour.

"Geeze," Yuski said, now sitting on the couch, struggling through Ancient Elvish. 'even that takes months." She pursed her lips. "Here's a challenge." she snapped and a bowl full of oil appeared. "Oil still has water in it, but it's harder to do. Takes a few weeks at the least even for the most talented."

"Okay." Maxie got out his MP3 player and put in the buds. Music always helped him with focusing. After an hour of struggling with the oil, he had an idea. He seperated the water from the oil, and easily lifted it into the air.
