Maxre realized he was sleep-talking. I wonder how he would feel if I went up there and woke him....? He grinned and put the thought away.

River yawned and stretched as he woke up. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and got dressed.

Maxre was waiting near the foot of the stairs. Arakosh snorted and woke up. "Oh sprink." He said. Maxre flinched. Sprink was the dirtiest, naughtiest, and rudest swear word a Pokemon could use. But of course Humans usually don't know that.

Maxre nearly fell over. "Us? Eat with you?" Said Arakosh, astonished at such kindness. Maxre recovered. "Uhhhhh, I think I'd like just a bit of meat and veggetables. I'm a vegetarian, you see." The Houndoom swished his tail.

"Of course we eat together." River said and tossed out six Pokeballs. His Pokemon came out. "I'll get working on breakfast."
River then cooked some meat, made fruit salad, and got some vegatables out. He put a gallon of MooMoo Milk, juice, and coffee on the table along with the food. "Dig in everyone!" He called.

Maxre nodded and went over to the table. He pulled a plate off, then dragged some meat onto the plate. Then he put a bit of salad on the plate. While Maxre began to eat, Arakosh wandered over, his Mightyena tail swishing. He loped over and grabbed a plate, pulling it to the floor. He then dragged some meat on. He ate ravonously.

Maxre and Arakosh followed. "We will show you a way to dodge most tricky moves, like ice beam and flamethrower. Moves that are like rays." Arakosh nodded and used flamethrower, right at Maxre. Maxre dodged by jumping into the air and spinning like a top. He fell next to Arakosh. "It works best with small Pokemon."
