Blade looked his opponent into the eyes, "You cannot truthfully say she can hit a target that moves at such speed, unless it is pure accident. That is also a part of Hyrameki."

"You have yet to see what she's capable of. Why bother trying to hit a target with a punch when you've got something like this?" He held up his arms. Ashe did the same and began to form a Spirit Bomb.

"What is that!?" Blade looked at the bomb in her hands. "That thing's huge! Blaziken, attack. It looks like they are charging energy. Get in there and deal the first blow before they have the chance!" Blaziken took a step, then disappeared, heading straight at Ashe.

Ashe forsaw his attack coming and whip kicked at him to repel him. "You'll find she can charge energy very quickly. And here's a little feature we've added ourselves. We've managed to turn every attack into a homing attack by using a little more of her Ki to lock in on the target's Ki. In other words, unless you can wear her down, her attacks are unstoppable."

Blade stiffened as Krystal hugged him, then relaxed as she let go. "It is no problem for me. I am happy to help." To Kenji, he said, "I have seen and heard many talking, but very few truly do. I only wish to see where your true heart lies, and the best way to do that is to duel." "Very well then." Kenji said gruffly. |

"You were too slow, Kenji. You must wait until after this match. Blaziken, Leap!" Blaziken lept over the incoming kick, and then breathed a flamethrower at Ashe.

Ashe used a thin wall of Ki to protect herself. "It's ready," she said, throwing the Spirit Bomb.

"Blaziken, Pull back, then leap!" He knew it was a far shot, but he was willing to take the risk. Blaziken disappeared, reappearing a second later in the middle of the field, then waited until Ashe began to throw the bomb, using all the strength in his legs to leap high into the air as the bomb collided with the ground. He was clear of the main attack, but obviously had taken some damage. "Ok, Blaziken, we'll have to make this count..." He continued on, loud enough for Blaziken to hear, but not loud enough for Ashe and Mithos to overhear his plan. Blaziken nodded, and walked into the center of the field.

"They're planning something, Ashe. I think this would be a good time," Mithos said, transforming into a Super Saiyan 3. Ashe followed suit, her 'hair' getting longer and flowing down over her back. "I told you she was just getting warmed up."

Neither Blade or Blaziken showed any fear of the transformation. Instead, Blaziken began charging toward Ashe once again. "Good, Blaziken, Keep going! Don't let them intimidate you."

Ashe waited for the right time to redirect Blaziken's attack, then to step in with a series of quick jabs. Mithos transformed into Neji. "Did I forget to mention we also worked on some Taijutsu? Particularly, the Gentle Fist style."

Unfortunatly, as soon as she leaped, he had changed course, heading to the left, and stopped, spinning as he slid. He dashed as she was landing, then came in with a Sky Uppercut.

The Ashe Blaziken had hit transformed into a log. "Ninjutsu, too. Her only real weakness is how much energy these things take." Ashe flew up into the air, using Ki to stay up.
"I'll finish this quickly. Tri-Bea-"
"Don't do it, Ashe!" Mithos shouted. "Using that attack is what killed you last time!"

"She died? How could she be here if she died?" Blade was confused by the comment, and noticed Blaziken was staring at her too, Blade's confusion mirrored in his eyes. Blaziken lept anyway, coming up beside the floating Lucario, and brought his right fist up, using Sky Uppercut one last time.

"Because I have the ability to warp reality," Mithos said. "I brought her back to life."
"HA!" Ashe shouted, enduring the hit and firing Tri-Beam at him to force him back. "Don't expect any mercy. HA!" She continued to rapid fire.
"I have to stop her," Mithos said, jumping into the air. "Mithos Hyugaa style secret technique: 8 trigrams: 1280 palms!" His multiple strikes rendered her chakra points completely sealed. As such, her transformation was lost and she reverted back to normal, then began to fall. Mithos quickly turned into Goku and used Instant Transmission to get below her and catch her. "Sorry about interrupting the match," he said, "but her life is more important to me than a match."

"I understand. I would do the same for any pokemon. Whether it be mine or someone else's, i would willingly risk myself to save it. I see no weakness in your actions. You acted like a League Champion." Blade paused, then continued. "I wish to duel you again sometime, using only League-sponsored moves." he then recalled Blaziken, and turned to Kenji. "Kenji, Thank you for waiting. I will use my Aipom in our duel, which pokemon will you use?"

Krystal fell to her knees from what she'd just seen. "I didn't want to know how she ended up dying."
"It's ok," Mithos said. "I'll get us out of here." He then turned to Blade. "If you want to know where to find a Lucario, come by my place later." He handed Blade a picture of his house. "It's along the oceanline. You can't really miss it."

"Very well. I will meet you there after my duel with Kenji." Blade said to Mithos, as he waited for Kenji to chose a pokemon.
(No thanks? A League champ himself tells you you acted like a Champion, and no thanks!? I noticed you posted and answered that. That is the intro post for my Team Phantom character, also a Hyrameki user, and an old rival of Blade. But seriously, no thanks for the compliment on giving up the fight???)

"And I'm no champion myself. In training Ashe, I've unfortunately neglected my other pokemon. Sure, Ashe may be strong, but as you can see, she doesn't know her limits. I can't go all the way with her alone."

"I can see she needs to learn limits. I never said you were Champion material, but rather that your action was that of a Champion. Continue training, and if you can defeat me in the next battle, using only League-sponsored moves, I will consider you Champion material." He looked into Mithos's eyes, "I have seen something in you, Mithos, potential. You have the potential to become great. If you would just try!"
(He has some serious wisdom for a sixteen year old, doesn't he? Some of it comes from his Sensei, but the rest was aquired while he was winning Leagues.)

"Uh, are you forgetting I can do anything in this world? Watch." He transforms back to normal, then his notebook appeared in his arms. "Watch your Blaziken carefully." He wrote in the notebook and Blaziken transformed from a male Blaziken into a female Vaporeon. "I can bend all rules of reality here. That's probably the potential you saw."

"Of course." Mithos erased the line he wrote and Blaziken returned to normal. "Although, I don't particularly know what potential you could mean. I mean, at this point, when I'm in this form," he said, transforming into Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, "I can rival Kratos Aurion. Let me tell you, that's a legendary feat. He's practically a god."

"I see the same potential as before - It's trying to escape. All you have to do is reach within yourself. Examine your feelings." Blade showed endless patience.
(The potential could be anything you want, from being the greatest trainer/champion to the best doctor. Whatever you wish, that he doesn't already have.)

ooc: Needless to say, I've customized Krystal a bit.
"Ok then," Mithos said, smiling and holding Krystal's hand as he sat. He entered a trance, focusing on his inner ability.
"He may be here a while," Krystal said.

"That is fine." Blade looked expectantly at Kenji, hoping he had picked a pokemon. When he saw Kenji was still thinking about it, he sat and started meditating himself, focusing on the battle ahead.

Blade woke from meditation, and heard Kenji say he was ready. He stood, and turned toward Kenji, holding Aipom's pokeball in his hand. "Very well, I will allow you to make the first move." He threw the pokeball, releasing Aipom, who danced around in exitement.
