Blade walks into the door, looking around at his home for the past month. He took off his sword, which is usually on his back, and walked over to a large, wooden rack, filled with the swords and staffs he had collected over the years. This one, the one he carried, was the most special. His sensai gave it to him directly, as a parting gift at his graduation. He would never forget that moment, his exitment at graduating and becoming a master at Hyrameki, the swordsmanship technique he learned so long ago. He returned the sword to the stand, then walked across the room and sat on his couch. After a 30 minute break, he got up, and pulled a pokeball from his pocket. He started walking outside, throwing the pokeball in front of him. His Blaziken, which he had raised from a Torchic, was waiting for him as he went through the door. He walked to his shed, Blaziken following, and pulled out a large slab of steel while Blaziken brought a block of wood. He carried the metal to a stand, with a fireplace beneath it, and placed it onto the stand.

Kenji smiled, walking up to the door with his wife, Nozomi, and his 2 year old son, Zane.

Blaziken noticed the three first, and alerted Blade by tapping him on the shoulder. "What is it, Blaziken?" Blade looks around. "Oh, visitors! Hello there! I'm Blade." He looks back to his project, and starts folding the now-malable metal with tongs as he pounds it into a wedge shape with his hammer. "I'll be with you in a minute! I just have to finish folding this, and then start it cooling."

Blade finished folding the metal horizontally, then folded the top left corner so it looked dog-eared. then he folded the metal twice more, making a curved edge at the furthest tip of the sword. He pounded the thin side again, making sure it was real thin, then poured a bucket of water over it, starting the metal to cool and putting out the fire under the stand. He turned to Kenji, and asked, "And you are?"

While the 3 were waiting outside, Mithos approached, Krystal by his side. "You're sure you want to ask this guy to make you a sword, Krystal?"
"I am," she replied simply.

"Oh! I just finished folding your order a minute ago! I'll get it finished up for you. Blaziken, Slash!" Blaziken walked over to the block of wood it carried out, and cut a pair of wooden cylinders out of it. Blade walked over to the first one and used a knife to etch a design into it, then cut out a section from one end. "Blaziken..." Blaziken breathed fire, melting one end of the sword's blade, which Blade then slid into the wooden frame, and then went to the other cylinder, using the knife to etch the same design into it. "Excuse me a moment, I have to get my sword." He walked indoors, bringing out with him an old sword and sheath. He pulled the sword out, and stuck it into the wooden cylinder, making a sheath out of it. He then stuck the newly fordged sword into the sheath, and sheathed his sword. he put his sword onto his back, and handed the new sword to Mythos. "Here you are. Made with the same care the ancient swordsmen forged their swords. These swords rarely break, even when applied with a lot of pressure. Do be careful, newly made, it's sharp as anything you've ever seen." To Kenji, he said, "Kenji, did you come for a sword too, or just to chat?"

"Just to welcome you to the neighborhood." Kenji said. "I can form my swords from my sapphires."

"Huh, it seems everyone here has some power or another. I don't have one, i have a skill. My sensai, or teacher, once told me, a power is something you are born with, a skill is something you learn. Then he had me running up and down the hill behind the dojo with buckets of water!" he laughed. "I will never forget that day."

Mithos smiled, turning to Krystal. "This is yours." She grabbed it and tried to lift it out of his hands.
"It's heavier than I thought," she said when she picked it up. "Well, the Saradomins are a true warrior race. I'll become strong." She hugged Mithos, wrapping her tail around his leg.
"How much will it cost?" Mithos asked Blade.

Kenji nodded. "I have other skills too. I'm a healer, a medic basically. But I'm a gym leader and breeder as well."

Blade held his old sword in his hands, feeling each and every mark. "This was my Sensai's sword," He finally said, "He gave it to me when I graduated and became a Master. I cannot stop striving to be more like him." Blade looked at Mithos, "Therefore, that sword is my gift to you. Make good use of it." He turned to Kenji. "I would like to see this power of yours, if you would like to show it. A Gym Leader... I have fought enough of them. I am familiar with their ways, fighting for strength... Yet you say you are a medic. That seems to contradict itself." Blade's eyes sparkled as he spoke. "I would like to see where you place your strength, healing or fighting. Duel me and Blaziken in a unoficial match, right here." At his name, Blaziken walked over and stood behind Blade.

Blade stiffened as Krystal hugged him, then relaxed as she let go. "It is no problem for me. I am happy to help." To Kenji, he said, "I have seen and heard many talking, but very few truly do. I only wish to see where your true heart lies, and the best way to do that is to duel."

Mithos put a hand on Krystal's shoulder, smiling. "You need to learn better control of your emotions," he said.
"I know. I'm sorry."
"That's all right. I was always a lot like that."

"If she wants to, I can help. I will teach her the art of swordsmanship. Just as Sensei taught me so long ago." Blade turned to her, "Do you wish to learn? It will be hard, but in the end you will be stronger than teaching yourself."

"Thanks," she said, "but I'd rather Mithos teaches me. He may not look like it now, but he's an expert swordsman."
"Technically, I'm a lot of things," Mithos said. "I can transform into different people that I've met. Hmmm. I sense that you are a rather strong trainer. Would you like to try fighting my strongest pokemon?"

"Very well. I shall use Blaziken, my first." Blade agreed, and Blaziken stepped in front of him. "Blaziken, are you ready?" Blaziken nods. "Are you ready, Mithos?"
(he said "First", because he would have trained all his pokemon to the same level, if this was the games)

"Sure am," Mithos said. "Ashe, you ready?" The Lucario stepped out.

ooc: Since you're relatively new, Mithos, able to transform into Dragonball Z characters, has taught Ashe those same kinds of skills.

"Whoa! A Lucario!" Blade ran over to it. "Where'd you find it? I've been looking everywhere for one!" He looked it over, first the front, then the back, as though it was a trophy for display, Until Blaziken tapped him on the shoulder, impatient to duel the new opponent. "Oh, all right Blaziken." Blade lept back to his side of the field. "I must warn you, I am the champion of Hoenn and Sinnoh! Anyway, this is an unofficial match."

"All right," Mithos said, transforming into Super Saiyan 2 Goku. Ashe smirked as her blue fur turned golden and her 'hair' began floating. Lightning occasionally circled around her. "You see, we've learned how to harness this kind of energy and she's managed to tap into true Saiyan power, whether she's a Saiyan or not."

"Wait, what? ok... This is strange. Oh well. Blaziken, you have my permission to use the Hyrameki. If she's using her powers, you should be able to use yours. That makes it fair." Blaziken leaped, dissappearing almost as soon as he left the ground, and reappeared crouched on the ground in front of Blade. "The Hyrameki is the special skill I learned from Sensei. It relies mostly on speed, although power also pays a factor. He will be moving beyond the capibility of bare eyes, making it hard to track and attack him."

"Maybe you've forgotten a Lucario's ability to track aura," Mithos said. "Even if that failed, she'd still be able to track his Ki energy(which is what the Z fighters use). Besides, this is just her warm up right now."
